I think it's great that he came to her defense to try and diffuse this and I'm almost certain that the whole Kennedy family would echo his sentiments. The thing is that it's not limited to the Kennedys. It goes further than that.

I seen some guy on the News saying it was May , guess he was wrong?

One has to wonder with all the "crazy" supporters of both Clinton and Obama why Clintons keeps talking about this?

In the next few weeks some nutty Clinton suppoter killed Obama she would NEVER get the nom and some Obama suppoter would likely kill her.

She either has no clue what's she's talking about or she's EVIL!

Not if Millions of Obama supporters blames her for him being killed , which given these comments they would!

Listen once again. There is no way she insinuated to a crazed supporter to assassinate Obama...where people get that idea is beyond me. She is not insisting that someone kill him so she ascends to be the nominee.

I don't want things to work out this way but it might happen...I hope it does not

Some people would vote for her but the question is how dicey would it be for the Democrats to have her run?

By saying what she did and as more than once, she placed herself in a position that if something happens to him, some people will not hesitate to blame her. We know that death tends to place people in a greater position than they were before.

Is something happens to Obama the whole country will go crazy and rightly or wrongly given their comments the Clintions would be in grave danger and something horrible would likely happen.

Everytime i see Obama in public i get this awful feeling everytime a woman comes up to him , if always see it being woman who shoots him.

Hopefully he's so well prptected this will never happen but it's my biggest fear.

South, that's the thing. Not one person can say what was meant or how somebody will take it, which is why statements like this are best left unsaid. If you can't say exactly what you mean, don't say anything.

That's true as well, Wales. And that's also the shame of it.

I think it's ludicrous to believe she was trying to send some kind of hidden message, but it was in poor taste. I think she regrets what she said, but it's just further proof that the more this goes on, the more Obama & Hillary will make these kinds of gaffes.

If he were killed Obama would be remembered along side with JFK and MLK and you know the news would air and reair everything bad thing the Clintions have ever said about him.

I can't talk about this anymore because's so scary to think what would happen if Obama were to die.

Obama and his team are keeping their traps shut hoping to ride this think out and win the nom , while Hillary just keeps talking and talking.

Her suppoters also keep blaming this stuff on her being tired ot stressed , wouldn't count aginst her being able to handle the white House?

You know it is a morbid topic and there are people out there crazy enough to think that doing something like this would be a good idea. Crazy is the operative word and it would be naive of me to think those kind of people don't exist but hopefully nothing happens.

There are also people out there who love conspiracy theories and I'm almost certain that this would take route because there are already people having a problem with the fact she said it regardless of intent. There's no excuse for it period.

Hmmm some of them were directed at me   and yes, it's water under the bridge.

I really do wish Hillary had not said that. I don't think there was any hidden meaning, but it was not something that needed to be said. I thought, from reading the transcript, that KO made some good points. She did apologize, however. It's just that time of the season and it think remarks like that are going to continue to blow up.

Huckabee's remarks bothered me far more.

His comments bothered me and it was in poor taste, even if he says it's a joke. He apologized through the media and he said he apologized personally to Obama. I think the idea of something like that lingers long after the words.

I can't actually say one bothered me more than another because it's kind of two different things at play to me. She said it before and the media overlooked it mainly because it was in print and then she repeats it today when surely she should know that it's a sensitive topic. It's a very odd thing to say and there's such a different tone to this than there was with Huckabee and it really doesn't help that it's a Democrat putting out these kind of vibes at a time like this where the party seems to be a mess already.

    • I don’t know either But having some random junkie extra be a part of John’s death feels weird  I have no problem with the age gap, but I admit I do kind of side eye the high school element. I mean, when they hooked up 21 year old Casey Moss with 53 year old Kassie DePaiva, I had no problem, but this…

    • Trisha Mann-Grant is so so good. I can’t believe I’ve never seen her in something before.
    • When watching the clip of Michael returning I wonder if the announcer set a record for fastest "the role of..." I've never really connected to any of LLC's characters in her soap career, but I will give her credit for always knowing how to make a reaction and scene count. She did when Gio stormed out of the room, and her reaction to Michael returning and walking off with Miley, even in the background of a scene, was great.  (and how is today the day I just realized Lisa is married to Michael Patrick Jann, of The State fame).
    • Holy [!@#$%^&*] just finished Friday’s episode. Despite my very public issues with this show, this week was everything I look for in soap opera. I fast forwarded all of the performances so I got nothing but soapy goodness. Honestly when GH wants to, they still pull off a Guza type event and this week was proof of that.    I have to also shout out Ned getting some strong involvement, given Brook Lynn kept the secret from him, very happy about that.    Maurice has to retire ASAP. Every other major player affected by this story, did such great work. He was embarrassingly bad like he barely knew where he was for some of his scenes. Giving him a job just because of his mental health has to stip when he’s actively ruining scenes. So happy Ned got a point of view most of the episode. Michael showing up with his new face and his son running up to him in front of everyone is just perfect and a great cliffhanger.
    • Why was there such a turnover of writers/producers in that era? You would think they would be looking for stability but each new team that came in changed direction , seemingly for no good reason instead of tweaking what was there. A lot of the new characters had little chance to get established before they were gone. Surely some of them had potential to be used by subsequent regimes? And what about bringing back writers familiar with the show ? Would Ann Marcus, the Corringtons, Henry Slesar or Peggy O'Shea been approached or interested?
    • Billy Magnussen is in the live action Lilo & Stitch.
    • Damn! Here we go again: Daniel Brocklebank has been axed from his role of Billy Mayhew after 11 years and will leave in 2026! bruh.. yet they keep useless characters Like Kirk and Izzy or Gemma on the payroll and axe Billy who actually had storylines and Craig. Craig was a Officer and could’ve used on important Future storylines but nooo. Keep Gemma, Izzy and Kirk who have no use
