April 3, 200817 yr Member I hope Maria continues to trim the team. And I'm just saying that because I didn't have the idea until Sylph said it
April 3, 200817 yr Member Hm. Your sarcasm is really hitting all-time lows, Ryan. Edited April 3, 200817 yr by Sylph
April 3, 200817 yr Member Well Mr. Sylph, I guess I'll just have to do better. I must find more creative ways to amuse you
April 3, 200817 yr Author Administrator Y&R: - James Stanley back listed as Writer on April 4 - Valerie Ahern & Christian McLaughlin back listed as Writers on April 4
April 3, 200817 yr Author Administrator Here are the updates: DAYS: Writer IN (John S. Newman), Writer OUT (Mark Christopher Higley) AMC: Writer IN (Michael J. Cinquemani), 2 Writers OUT (Ron Renauld and Michelle Patrick) Sorry about Michelle Patrick! I liked her too.
April 3, 200817 yr Member MICHELLE PATRICK!!!!! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Screw you B&E!!!! Thanks Toups! Michael J. Cinquemani wrote for GH and OLTL right? Edited April 3, 200817 yr by Kyle
April 3, 200817 yr Member So Dena and Corday bowed to pressure and fired Mark? Hopefully Dena is next... As for John S. Newman, blah.... What the hell is wrong with B&E? They let Michelle Patrick go!? I hope another soap swoops her up, she was really one of the best things about AMC's writing team... Edited April 3, 200817 yr by Y&RWorldTurner
April 3, 200817 yr Member What the hell is wrong with B&E? They let Michelle Patrick go!? I hope another soap swoops her up, she was really one of the best things about AMC's writing team... ITA!!! She is one of the best writers on AMC. She has so much history with the show. Now we only have Jeff Beldner that has the most history with AMC and if he leaves I do not know whats wrong with ABC.
April 3, 200817 yr Member This has nothing to do with Corday and Dena bowing to pressure. The WGA arbitration isn't about Mark or Victor. They went fi-core immediately (well within their right) and wrote publicly for Days during the strike. I don't think it has anything to do with the writer's guild. ETA: Yeah, that sucks about Michelle. REALLY sucks. My condolences to AMC fans. Edited April 3, 200817 yr by brimike
April 3, 200817 yr Author Administrator So Dena and Corday bowed to pressure and fired Mark? Hopefully Dena is next No, it wasn't due to WGA pressure. It was something else.
April 3, 200817 yr Author Administrator Michael J. Cinquemani wrote for GH and OLTL right? Where would you go to find out that question. Yeah, he wrote for GH and was a Writers Assistant for OLTL.
April 3, 200817 yr Member I'm shocked though that Mark was let go, if it wasn't because of WGA pressure. I mean he's worked with Dena during her first DAYS stint and at OLTL. I figured as long as she's writing for a soap, he'd be there. The real story behind his firing must be juicy.
April 3, 200817 yr Member This just gets better and better......why is it that none of the writers we really dislike are fired? ::cough::cough::Guza, Korte:cough::cough::
