Here are the updates:

DAYS: Writer IN (John S. Newman), Writer OUT (Mark Christopher Higley)

AMC: Writer IN (Michael J. Cinquemani), 2 Writers OUT (Ron Renauld and Michelle Patrick)

Sorry about Michelle Patrick! I liked her too. :(

So Dena and Corday bowed to pressure and fired Mark? Hopefully Dena is next...

As for John S. Newman, blah....

What the hell is wrong with B&E? They let Michelle Patrick go!? I hope another soap swoops her up, she was really one of the best things about AMC's writing team...

ITA!!! She is one of the best writers on AMC. She has so much history with the show. Now we only have Jeff Beldner that has the most history with AMC and if he leaves I do not know whats wrong with ABC.

This has nothing to do with Corday and Dena bowing to pressure.

The WGA arbitration isn't about Mark or Victor. They went fi-core immediately (well within their right) and wrote publicly for Days during the strike. I don't think it has anything to do with the writer's guild.

ETA: Yeah, that sucks about Michelle. REALLY sucks. My condolences to AMC fans.
