Members R Sinclair
She's Courtney Sherman/Courtney Simon/Courtney Sherman Simon's daughter, right? Wasn't Sherman/Simon a strike captain? Okay... that should be interesting. Even though I hate writing outlines a.k.a. breakdowns, they are rather helpful. But yeah. This should be interesting, since some writers lack structure (Jean Passanante, anyone?), to see how an episode flows... That's if I dare to tune in purely for research reasons. As a fan, hell to the no! Not until B&E are gone. Wasn't that "Veronica Sandbridge"? I always thought Courtney Bugler was rather fitting -- since her writing BUGS THE HELL OUTTA ME! Members AddictedToSoaps
Toups, #13 is Murray Bartlett who plays Cyrus Foley on GL. Him, Marcy Rylan, and Michelle Ray Smith (all GL cast members) presented the outstanding writing award last year, which explains why he's on the stage, and hence why he's holding the envelope. Members R Sinclair
If Mike Cohen's not at DAYS, he should write scripts for AMC since he worked under B&E at Port Charles. I would love it!
Members Sylph
Yes, Kate Hall (or Katherine Simon?) is her daughter and yes - Courtney was the strike captain. It was also Veronica Sandbridge. I think it still stands as fake. But apparently, Bugler's surname is real. I just thought it was a kind of a (rather lame) pseudonym. Members dragonflies
LMAO I read that some writer's have it in their contracts to end their tenure early if a certain HW is rehired, it's known as the "Megan McTavish Clause"

Members LeClerc
It's pretty much exactly what Zendall Fan wrote. It's in their "Things we know but shouldn't tell you section" and refers to "some ABC writers" having this clause.
Members LeClerc
I wonder if one of the major reasons everyone at AMC is doing scripts and they are eliminating the breakdowns is to get back to being a couple of months ahead in the writing. During the strike they fell pretty far behind.
Members dragonflies
This is what it says Toups: There is reportedly a clause that some ABC writers have included in their contracts that allows them to end their tenure early if a certain head writer is rehired by the show. It's known as the "Mc Tavish Clause" after former AMC Headwriter Megan McTavish.
Members exwriter
This is true. The Cullitons have it. I'm not sure who else. It's called the "Megan Clause."
