OK, people, I don't know if you've noticed, but Tracey Ann Kelly's IMDB page says her "alternate name" is Anne M. Schoettle.

I don't think it's true, but then again – I might be mistaken. Anne Marie Schoettle is David Shaughnessy's wife, as far as I know, who lives with her husband in CA. On the other hand, I think Tracey lives in Pennsylvania... I think...

Can someone confirm this?

This is an error which probably occured while fixing the scriptwriter for one episode which was before incorrectly credited by Anne Schoettle who was always credited as Anne M. Schoettle on B&B.

How do I fathon this so Smartypants-like? It was probably my bad. :D

EDITED to stress: Schoettle is of course Shaugnessy's wife and not identical with Tracy Ann Kelly in any way.

Now to some more B&B related writer questions:

1. Is Jack Smith back in the credits yet?

2. How comes that B&B does not list its story consultants daily anymore? Ever since the strike they got moved to the crew credits... Has it sth. to do with the outcome of the strike?

God, I hate IMDB! Not. :D Yes, Anne is 48, I think, and Tracey is 40-ish. I wanted to point this out in case ChrisB got worried about my posts not containing the age information any more. :P

Sorry guys but Kay Alden did have something to do with AMC in some aspect. I doubt she'd give an interview talking about the show if she didn't. I remember she said things like "AMC's canvas is FULL of unlikeable characters" and that there were certain characters she would have gotten rid of.

My guess is she wanted to get rid of Frons's pets(Ryan, Babe, etc....) and that's why he cut her loose

I think she consulted if she didn't write anything, and she did submit a bible, that was confirmed I remember that.

Jason we're all waiting for that day ;)

Alden definitely wrote a detailed bible for AMC. In the talk she gave a year ago she said that she had written a bible that would get the show back in shape so that it could "take off" during November sweeps.

And therein lies the problem I think: her bible probably didn't have any big exciting plot points to get Frons' attention; it was about slowly re-building the show over several months. Esensten & Brown swooped in with their "Crash" projection, Frons pissed his pants he was so exited, and the rest is history. The story was a total flop and drove the show to last place in the ratings.

I have some issues with Alden's pacing but I have no doubt AMC would be in a very different position right now had Frons not gone for the quick fix with "Crash", which ultimately fixed nothing.

Next week will make a year since it was announced that B&E would Head Write AMC. If they aren't fired now, I doubt they'll be fired any time soon. I wouldn't put it passed Frons to renew their contract, no matter how bad the ratings and the quality of the show are.

Yeah I doubt SOD is going to print a blurb about Tomlin and Pratt coming to AMC if the show wasn't looking for replacements for B&E. So yep I think they're at AMC in name only now.

I also think that the Jesse & Angie wedding might be their swan song

Having just seen all the ratings, sweeps ratings, if B&E are not let go in the next couple of weeks then they aren't going. It's as simple as that.

We know a cycle is up, we know that AMC is dead last is pretty much every ratings category mankind has created, we know it's sweeps, we know this has been true of every sweeps period since B&E began.....

So if it doesn't happen now, that's it.

    • I did not care, just clarifying that was the discussion point. If there are ice cream bars in Statesville I am sure there is a full spa
    • Seeing Peter Bergman (Jack) and Melody Thomas Scott (Nikki) act opposite each other really makes me mad that their short-lived reunion in 2012 was just that... short-lived. I've always loved the Jack/Nikki pairing.
    • No.  I recall there was also a mention about how distracting it was EOB's Gwen wasn't wearing nail polish as well.  That it was someone's pet peeve. And, yes, the fact characters can have a manicure in prison is the wildest continuity issue here.
    • Can anyone remember Mary Ellen Stuart's run as Jenny? I'm trying to fill in the cracks for missing stuff that we overlooked.  Bulletpoints:  * Dated Ross * Rusty's police partner * Directly responsible for Dinah coming forward about George Stewart (Cam's father)
    • But that's not weird... nail polish is allowed in prisons via commissary. Same with general makeup, haircuts, and hair colouring products.
    • This is DAYS, the show that said you could brainwash anyone with simple kitchen appliances.  An actor's nail polish or lack thereof should be the least of our concerns, lol.
    • It was not that she wasn't wearing nail polish, it is that she managed to get a manicure in prison
    • "We're Knot Done Yet": the name of this lovely podcast AND what JVA tells her plastic surgeon at every appointment. In other news, Michele Lee is reminding me more and more of my old music teacher from elementary school, and I couldn't STAND that bitch.
    • I apologize if this has been covered already, but does anyone know whether Douglas Marland was HW'ing by that point?  If he was, then I see what he meant when he said (in so many words) that he had inherited a mess when he started at GH.  Aside from Alan and Monica, none of that material seems very promising.  The story with Mark Dante and the Corbins is the wrong kind of predictable (y'know, the kind where you know what's going to happen, but you just don't give a crap?), the stuff with Scotty and Laura is cute but toothless, I don't know WHAT the hell Gina and Steve Carlson's character are arguing about and Rick Webber has to be the dumbest man alive not to see David Hamilton twirling his invisible moustache over how to make a killing off Lamont Corbin's declining health.  (By the way, "LAMONT CORBIN"?  What is this, "The Shadow"?  And "Corbin Limited" sounds like some jive I'd hear over on Y&R.) In a way, it's kind of like watching today's GH, right down to the dialogue that's serviceable and pushes plot along but says nothing about the characters' inner lives.
    • It absolutely was; the narrative was there, and they followed it promptly. Maybe that's back when women had babies at young ages?!?!?
