Tuesday. hmmph, I am just not feeling Gary Tomlin as dialogue writer everything was just blah. The stories were there but it just did not snap like previous weeks, hopefully when the strike ends we get the same writers back in place.

Cole, just bad acting ruined those scenes.

As for David only winning a $1, there has to be more to that, maybe he will turn in Marcie afterall.

I have a question for all of you oltl fans, I watch oltl on and off but whenever I start back watching oltl blair is always living at dorian's can't she afford her own place????

As for the show today I liked how viki handled dorian with maturity and class, I usually don't lilke viki but I loved how she made dorian look look so immature today. I still love dorian though.

That's good to know Tishy! OLTL is must see these days.

How classic were Viki and Dorian today? I LOVE their banter!

Still loving nuMichael.

The only problem I have with this teen story is that Brandon Buddy is playing Cole. The material would be so much better if we had a better actor in the role.

For the first time I liked the actor that played Charlie today. Lovin Mo and the rest of the Texas crew.

Love how Talia is giving Antonio the cold shoulder.

Today was better than yesterday's show and FYI no Gary Tomlin dialogue.

Viki and Dorian's talk was excellent, especially when she made Dorian feel uncomfortable and get up and leave!

I LMAO @ Gigi basically telling Marcie shut up by grabbing her by the hand and tossing her out the room to go to work.

The Desperate Housewive remark was funny too.

Feel bad that Charlie fall off the wagon, I wonder what Viki will do and say?

HA! I loved that Talia gave Antonio the cold shoulder too!

Still not feeling Cole.

I thoroughly enjoyed the scenes between Viki and Dorian. It was quite refreshing to see Viki not be goaded by Dorian and instead making Dorian uneasy when Viki turned the tables on Dorian and had her questioning her own life. WTG Viki!!

Geesh, Marcie needs to STFU already, she was getting on my last nerve, I wanted Gigi to clamp something over her mouth and I don't think I'll be able to watch Marcie try to be a waitress, but there were some really great lines with Gigi, Marcie, Charlie and Noelle.

Someone needs to put a sock in Ramsey's mouth.

I really enjoy Natalie being such a good friend to Miles.

Very good show today, can't wait to see Viki and Todd tomorrow.

Must KA shout every line? She's really driving me crazy.

I'm enjoying the crew from Texas so much, I wish they could transplant Moe's dinner to Llanview. I guess GiGi and Shane will have to do.

Why does Tuc have to leave us again? Isn't pilot season a bust thanks to the writer's strike?

    • Thursday & Friday's episodes were excellent. The build-up was most definitely worth the wait (2 months). TMG, I can't give her enough accolades. AM, was also absolutely incredible. I think the fallout is going to have a ripple effect. The little clues that have been dropped,  hopefully, will weave seamlessly to reveal even bigger bombshells for the Dupree's and Martin.
    • Thanks, msn drives me nuts on the one hand but on the other hand their headlines appeal to me. And, I just don't do FoxNews.  She is trolling this thread.
    • The link doesn't work.  The actual link is this: https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/composer-leonard-bernstein-s-children-request-his-music-be-played-in-the-kennedy-center-in-rebuke-to-trump/ar-AA1E7gw5 That's a reprint of a FoxNews article. MSN reprints stuff from many sources. You can tell the source from the logo above the headline on the msn page. The FoxNews article is describing what Leonard Bernstein's children wrote -- as a "letter to the editor" of the New York Times. Instead of reading it filtered through FoxNews, here is the original: "Our Dad, Leonard Bernstein, Would Want His Music Played at the Kennedy Center" https://www.nytimes.com/2025/05/02/opinion/kennedy-center-leonard-bernstein-protest.html Non-paywall archived copy of the same NYTimes letter, without commentary: https://archive.is/QaLqD
    • Might be a long shot, because I can't find a thing online about it, but I was Googling the actress that played Nell Cleary (Frank's cop friend that went through academy and then became cops together during the entire Brent Lawrence storyline). To my surprise, she passed away in 2011, at the very young age of 45. I can't find her obituary or anything online about her passing, but I'm curious, does anyone know what happened? Her IMDB only shows a few other acting gigs post-Guiding Light, so she didn't make a career out of it, but I thought she was a great actress in her role as Cleary. Her name was Mary Peterson.
    • What was Ruth Martin's association to the Thornton family?  I only remember the daughter that dated Tad, and she had a buxom mother.  But, did Ruth date David Thorton before Joe?

Why didn't Steve respect Monica and Jeff's decision?  I get he's Jeff's father, and that's how it came out, but I don't like the ethics of the story. A stranger gets to make life or death decisions over a wife's demands?   I hope Monica secretly never forgave Steve's chauvinism.
    • Question: Jon-Michael Reed's review of 1977 is up in the retro soap section.  It includes a fleeting reference to comedic scenes between Jeanne Cooper and Julianna McCarthy regarding “Kay's would-be beau, Ralph the Plumber”.  Could someone please fill me in will more details? I forgot that Kay and Liz were friendly before Jill stole Kay's husband.  And the thought of Liz playing a comedic scene blows my mind, because I only recall her being dour both in demeanor and wardrobe.
    • I said this on Twitter on Friday when Leslie mentioned Chicago, so perhaps she might be related to one of Anita's bandmates. In addition, Leslie did say she grew up listening to The Articulettes too.
    • There was a scene in the past week or two with Leslie looking at some papers and mementos, which included an invitation or souvenir from Alan's memorial service or funeral -- it was dated as November 2024. Me just guessing but it seems to me that Martin's nightmares about the accident are from something longer ago than November.
    • ah thanks! do you know who the third one was in the blonde? the fifth one i know ive seen before in the brown wig but i forgot, and then ive never seen the psychic one before lol
