As some of you know, Shawn recently had heart surgery, so the doctors could fix a hole in the valve of his heart. He posted about it here: http://boards.soapoperanetwork.com/index.php?showtopic=23338

Anyways, I sent Shawn a message on Wednesday and imagine my surprise when I check my myspace messages this morning and got one from him! He said I can post this, so I will.

Well I made it out of surgery alive. I was terrified going in but that anesthesia is potent, thats for sure, and I was out before you could count to 69. I'm still in the hospital, will be for a few more days atleast. I really can't eat much. I'm in agony. Then again, when you have your chest cut open and your heart tinkered with, it really wouldn't feel like a night of passion. The whole surgery lasted about two and a half hours. The docs said that I have to be here because they want to see if the procedure was a success or not. As of now, I can't feel a difference in my health, but time will tell.

I hate hospitals. The food sucks. And I'm lonely. I wish visiting hours were 24 7. Its hard to be alone in silence pondering your own mortality like I've been doing. I really need to stop. So not healthy.

At any rate, my sis snuck in her blackberry for me to write you, so this is the last you'll hear from me for another week or so, until I'm home and in own bed. Oh how I miss my bed. My ass chafes too much on these damn hospital sheets.

Give my girls my love, and tell everyone on the board that their thoughts and prayers won't be forgotten. Its been such a hard time, and it helps to know that there are people out there who care.

And as always, thank you for just being you. You mean more to me than you know.
