I know ignoring Y&R is the thing to do, but how else would you see the great job Braeden and Scott are doing as the parents fighting over how to save Victoria? Thankfully the focus is being kept on them and not the tug of war between Brad and JT. We all say we want character driven drama. Here it is!

I agree that Braeden and Scott's scenes is the brightest part of the series. Scott has been turning in some powerhouse perfomances and she was also great today.

I refuse to ignore Y&R. I think the Victor Nikki scenes are great.

I'm in total agreement. I was about a week and three days behind with my Y&R viewing - and I really didn't have a desire to watch the eps - but boy am I glad that I did! These scenes have really been top-notch. I haven't been one to jump on the anti-Lynn Marie Latham bandwaggon, but even I had to agree that almost every character on the canvas worrying about facing jail time was a bit much! However, this story and the performances by all the actors involved has gotten me interested once again in a big way.

Yeah, I think Y&R is still better than most of what's out there. It has problems, but so does every soap. I love that it's Nikki that is sticking up for what Vikki wants. On most shows it would be the guy she's been in love with for 5 mins who knows her better than anyone in the world.

Does anyone know if AH has had her baby and how much time she's taking off. I'm going to miss her. I wish her the best with her delivery.

Juliajms, I read that she DID indeed have her baby. But I'm not sure how much time she is taking off. I was a little confused about her maternity leave -- I thought all of these coma scenes were in-fact her leave (meaning these scenes were pre-taped), but I was incorrect. As of what we're seeing now on air, AH still hasn't gone on leave yet.

Ameila had a baby boy a couple of weeks ago and I think after they take Vicki's baby, Amelia will go on maternity leave.

Thanks for the answers! Glad to hear she had the baby safely. Even though I don't want her to be gone long, I hope she takes as much time as she needs before coming back.

Deliever the baby, fire Ameila and kill Victoria. Problem solved. :rolleyes:

This week has been really good and Victor and Nikki have been fantastic but I also have to say that I have enjoyed Nicholas as well. He has been much more subtle torn between both of his parents opinions but all he wants is his sister back. And besides this story I have pretty much enjoyed everything else this week as well which is rare for me.

I believe it was in one of the soap mags that said VH wouldn't be gone long at all on her maternity leave. So I think that the baby will be delivered and will live and then Victoria will finally come out of her coma to find out that her baby will indeed be ok. This is just my opinion tho..
