The Emmy's did pretty dram well last year because of the June airdate and all the shows being done for the year , guess that why their on June 20 this year?

I don't think the Emmy's did that well in the ratings last year but I can't remember for sure. All Award shows are nomally down.

I hope ABC still puts on a decent show but with their lack of noms they might not care.

Yup, I think the June airdate helped. Also Bob Barker was retiring and had a special pre-emmy show.

All the years end up meshing together that is probably why. I probably confused it with another award shows. The June airdate probably does help somewhat. Nothing else is on. They should change the eligibility period as well next year extended this year into next year or something they do from where they cut off to a year in advance. Just having the awards handed out six months after the period ended is a long time.

yup. starts at 5pm in cali... i assume it will air at 8pm nyc time. but maybe doors close at 5p and show starts at 6 that would mean show at 8 nyc.. i will let ya know when i get my tix.
