ABC plans more scripts for «Murder»

ABC's drama "Women's Murder Club" is the latest freshman series to receive an order for additional scripts.

The network has picked up three more scripts from the mystery drama based on James Patterson's series of novels.

"Club," which stars Angie Harmon," got off to a great start in its Friday 9 p.m. time slot, but has lost some momentum in its subsequent airings. Last week, the 20th Century Fox TV-produced series drew 8.9 million viewers and a 1.9 rating/6 share among adults 18-49.

The script order for "Club" leaves comedy "Cavemen" as the only freshman ABC series without a pickup of additional scripts or episodes. The network has already handed out full-season pickups to dramas "Private Practice" and "Pushing Daisies" and comedy "Samantha Who?"

I'm so stoked that Chuck has been given a full season order..Its really one of the hottest new shows on the air, and the demo's have been pretty good..Also Life has been doing pretty well, and even had improved ratings over Bionic Woman a few weeks ago, which is its lead in..

I'm guessing and kind of hoping Bionic Woman is canceled....I really tried to like it, and watched the first 5 episodes..but just couldn't get into it..

Anyone know about Big Shots? I hope its picked up cuz I love Michael Vartan on the show.

I'm also surprised at how many shows ABC has picked up this year. Isn't it a lot for that network?

Very surprised that Private Practice is coming back. On one hand I want Addison back on Grey's Anatomy (cuz she was more interesting to me there) but on the other hand I'm VERY happy for the cast of PP and Kate Walsh in particular. That kinda sucess is hard to come by so congrats to her and the rest of the crew.
