If you don't have the proper Courier font, you might want to download Dark Courier for free from Hewlett-Packard's site.

Screenwriter 6.0 cannot import from or export to Final Draft format, but - importing from Rich Text Format (RTF) is easy and requires little cleanup. It also exports to RTF, PDF, and the Screenplay Exchange (.sex) scheduling formats.

I'm getting MMS as a graduation present (and she's not known for her generosity), so soon I'll finally be able to write properly. But I'm not sure when, though. How long has the current version be available? I don't want her buy it, and then for a newer version to come out.

Who is this mysterious she? A girlfriend, probably. VersionTracker says the current version (6.05.89) came out on March 29th. So I think it's safe to buy it.

Have you checked the reviews, screenshots, features etc.?

For those who didn't know - MMS is on sale these days: instead of $249.95, now it's $209.95 ($225.95 -> $199.95).

I don't know whether a new version is coming soon, but I know FD 8 will come out this year.
