So it's from 2004 but who cares! The Red Sox have won the division and the stinking Yankees are in second place. The playoffs are fast approaching, but not all the teams are set. The National League Wild Card is still up for grabs, while the Yankees have clinched it.

I want to personally thank the Baltimore Orioles for pulling off a suicide squeeze for the win. Thanks for the home field advantage. This is the only reason that Fall is even tolerable.

Welcome to Soxtober! And the Yankees suck

The Mets are only one game back in both the Division and the Wild Card. They definately have a shot.

I don't like the Phillies, and would love to have a rematch with the Mets. I want to banish that horrible moment in baseball history when the ball went through Bill Buckner's legs....and I better not see that you tube here

It's the last day of the regular season! The American League has known who will be in the playoffs for a few days now, but the National League it really came down to the wire. The Mets were eliminated (Jay, root for the Red Sox, we already gave you guys the 86 WS. And yes, we gave it to you) and the Phillies won the NL East. Here are the matchups for the Divisional Championships... and I will give who I want to win all the way to the World Series.

Boston v Angels (Boston)

Cleveland v Yankees (Yankees)

Chicago v Arizona (Arizona)

Philadelphia v San Diego (so evenly matched but I am going to go with San Diego)

Boston v Yankees (Boston in seven)

Arizona v San Diego (Arizona in Five)

World Series

Boston v Arizona....Boston in Six

Those are my predictions

Jay, even though we gave you a World Series in 86? You disappoint me Birthday Boy. But when it comes to the World Series and my Red Sox are playing the D backs, we will have lots to talk about

I put my predictions up, even though the National League Wild Card isn't over yet. It could be the Rockies instead of the Padres, but I still don't think that they will go past the first round.
