Why is this show almost ending and has made absolutely NO progress with the Barret mystery? In the beginning it was hinted by fans bc of the clues that she could be Brenda or share a connection and I thought that was going to be a backbone to the plot of NS but they havent done anything with it. She is never on not is brought up. Is this a dropped plot? I dont get it

Honestly, with the crap that they put out in Las Vegas, I'm pretty sure this is its last year, so VM may be avail. for season 2.
