September 21, 200718 yr Member Per TVGuide.com GH Vet Genie Francis Lands a Note-worthy Role While General Hospital continues to leave coal in Genie Francis' stocking, the daytime icon has been gifted with a lead role in a Hallmark Channel movie. According to Variety, The Note — premiering Dec. 8 and also starring Ted McGinley — concerns a "lonely hearts" columnist who comes across a letter written to an unidentified child by an ill-fated airline passenger. Francis' editor puts her in charge of tracking down the tot before Christmas, all the while chronicling her (sure-to-be-emotional) quest. As for McGinley's part in all of this, it would seem that maybe he got cast in a TV series with the aforementioned airplane. Edited September 21, 200718 yr by ljacks13
September 21, 200718 yr Member Great news for Genie Francis. She is a talented actress, she should not be out of work. I am happy she has decided to end her retirement.
September 21, 200718 yr Member I love Ted McGinley! And I love Genie! As the coffee talk lady says its like "budda!"
September 21, 200718 yr Member Congrats to Genie Francis! ABC might not want you anymore, but we still do!
September 21, 200718 yr Member Screw GH if they don't want Genie back, she deserves success in other mediums. I really hope she lands a primetime hit soon, so Frons and JFP can go straight to hell.
September 22, 200718 yr Member Francis on the...Hallmark Channel? I guess congratulations are in order. I just wish Guza had his way so he could write the story he wanted to for on GH. Francis can increase GH's ratings to much healthier levels.
