OLTL:Cat Hickland isn't leaving

Hey, Brandon! Rest assured, because Cat isn't going anywhere. In fact, she spoke a bit at her fan event about how excited she was to be working on a regular basis again. She also mentioned that Carlivati has some wonderful stuff coming up involving Lindsay's character (all of which is under wraps!), which is so wonderful to hear. Lindsay will be back with a vengeance, I assure you! So IF the rumors pan out that are floating around cyberspace about a link between Lindsay and Spencer's murder, it will merely serve as a new beginning vs. a finale for the character. I also think recurring status suits Cat best, because the once tiny cosmetics business she started in her apt. has morphed into a multi-million dollar corporation, and she is constantly traveling because of it. In fact, they have another HSN Cat Cosmetics launch coming up just after Labor Day, and I'll post more about that as the info becomes available. And everyone who has been writing on behalf of Cat owes themselves a huge pat on the back, because your efforts have been heard and Lindsay will continue to turn things upside down in Llanview for a long time to come. If that isn't incentive to keep writing on behalf of Cat and the other CHERI women, I don't know what is!

I remember the same buzz going on with Fiona Hutchison. We were promised that she was not going anywhere and that a great story was coming up for her character. Three weeks later, Gabrielle was lying dead in Bo's arms...

Don't believe the hype. When they protest too much, the character will be hanging by a noose before long.

But lets think about this for a second. Everyone thinks she's leaving because she killed Spencer. RC said that the killer would face the wrap. That doesnt mean she has to leave. Also she put up a blog on Myspace talking about when one door closes, another opens....that doesn't necessarily mean she's leaving OLTL.

So sad, but so true! Besides this whole faux promise of more airtime has been going on for YEARS! For Hillary B. Smith too and she has yet to have anything meaty.

Lindsay killed Spencer? What did she have to do with him?

That's what I've been wanting to know since seeing the rumor... At this point, only ones I can see doing it are Renee and Dorian really.

As far as Lindsay is concerned, some are saying it's a way for the Tommy secret to come out, that she supposably found out about it (from Adriana and Rex, because they seemed to have know shame in the beginning talk about it in open spaces) and Spencer's involvment. So, when she came upon him and Blair (along with knowing the Tommy/TJ story) she snapped killed him... and yet again doesn't remember. Her son, Will, comes to town and uses her lawyer skills along with her past deeds, to help her get sent to St. Anne (or jail... rumors are fuzzy on this point), but because of all the Spencer hate the town helps get her freed so she can walk Llanview again.

Hope Cat doesn't leave, Lindsay has always been one of my favorites and I loved for them to give her and Bo another shot.
