Sonya Eddy, who joined GENERAL HOSPITAL as the outspoken Epiphany in March 2006, is now a contract player. "What I love about her is she's a taskmaster," says the actress. "She's like one of those teachers you had in school who were very demanding and you couldn't stand at the time, but looking back, you see the impact they had on your lives."

I'm glad about this. She gets on my nerves sometimes, but at the end of the day I really like Epiphany.

This is actually surprising for ABC to do this. I love her and am happy she has been given a contract. Maybe its a sign of more things like this to come. It makes GH's contract cast now with two african american cast members.
