Days promos have sucked for years now. I hate that ugly, pale blue background... it makes 'Days' look like some generic syndicated show.

I also hate the plain "Days of Our Lives" font. Why not use the actual title font?

Also, the promos are far too short. Another ten seconds would be fabulous.

Everything about it is just generic, and none of it is tailor-made for the show. The promos aren't titled anymore, like they used to be...

Tell me that those don't look enticing! Notice the "K" in flames for Kristen's promo, and the "S" in flames for The Secret Room. So tailor-made and unique!

And this, check out the amazing font for "Days of Our Lives" at the end! Tailor-made for the show, a great dramatic background... I loved these promos! It's from 1998.

I kinda agree... the drink scene was nice though. Sami and EJ's pictures there was dumb. And the promo, though showing progress, still lends no hope for the show's arguably biggest problem: balance. Who wants to see more of Shelle? If these are the promos fans see all the time how are they supposed to know there will be change.

I FLOVE the promo from fall 2002. That was the last time DAYS was at it's best.

I've seen this episode already. The episode itself is a lot better than the promo indicates, IMO.

Seriously, the Shelle island story is reaching the boiling point and beginning to move so it should be featured. The only thing I can argue is that maybe the wedding should be in there somewhere too.

They can't put the vets in a promo yet when their story has yet to begin.

Jinxed Soul is right...what happens much better then what the promo indicates. The promo is lame but they have been for years with a few exceptions. That falls on NBC though IMO.
