All: Best and Worse Cancer Storylines?

And while I don't remember much of it, I'll never forget Bert Bauer's, which mirrored Charita Bauer's real life.

P.J. are you talking about the stuff near the end of Charita Bauer's and Bert Bauer's lives - real life and show.

When I made my list I remembered her having her leg removed but couldn't remember the exact cause on the show. In real life Charita had a blood clot that caused them to have to amputate her leg, but I couldn't remember why they amputated her leg on the show.

The cancer story I have seen scenes of for her was from the 1960's - 1962 in fact when she had uterine cancer.

I remember Johnny had cancer in 1987 after Bert died, but couldn't remember if they did cancer for Bert too right before that.

Just wondering.

I hated Chloe's leukemia back in 2002. Like the rest of the cancer stories, apparently, it started off great. It got people talking, and then it just fell apart. It became nothing but a prop for the Brady/Chloe/Philip triangle. And then there was the whole searching for Chloe's father for a bone marrow. I couldn't wait for Chloe to go into remission and move on!
