There is a new Showfax audition script posted for OLTL.

This time it is for Paula, who is Tate's ex-wife.

Accordin to someone on the OLTL voy board:

Rex meets her. She is Tate's ex-wife. Rex asks why Tate never mentioned her before. She says they were young when they got married. Apparently Tate and Adriana are now working together, thus Rex's interest in investigating Tate's past.

I know...that's three they've put up already in the last 5 or 6 days.

I'm hoping that a lot of them are either dayplayers or recurring....please dear God don't let them put every one of them on contract.

Tate Harmon is an ex-pro baseball player who now apparently is living in Llanview. We first saw and heard of him on February 8th when he came to speak at a Llanview High School assembly on the dangers of steroids.

A couple weeks ago we was in the Diner....and so was Adriana....they briefly introduced each other, and then (knowing what a big baseball fan Rex is), Adriana introduced him to Rex as a way to try to take his mind off of everything.

We saw also him stop by Capricorn shortly thereafter for a drink, and met Nash for the first time.

Tate will very soon be sitting his sights on Adriana.

Well, no telling how long it will take to cast the role, and then it will take a couple of months to make it on air after that.....

We barely know anything about this guy... and they are already on planning on bring on an ex-wife. I can see myself not caring. It's a bit upsetting how some characters (many of whom just arrived) seem to get a solid background and everything, while others don't.

This reminds me of Nash and Claudia, her being brought in too soon was the downfall of her character to me. Now, Nash talking about her and referring to her, fine; but her showing up and sticking around was a bit useless back then. Now, with Jessica and Nash close and in love, and Antonio injuried would have been a great time to bring her in... though it would be a bit predictable, it still would have been more interesting now than before.

IMHO, too soon for an ex-wife for another new character Tate, who thankfully hasn't been shoved down our throats and am liking. I did like him as Jordan on ATWT, so glad OLTL got him. I think though, he'd been good as Joey Buchanan instead though.
