Yeah, I guess it was as boring as all get out, that's why no one's started a thread yet.

A little disappointed with Henry getting some action. It just came out of nowhere. There was a little build up on Wednesday, and I wished they'd thrown us something yesterday.

What is the big deal with Katie having that black eye? Big deal. Have her tell her cute little story about how she got it. Isn't that what Regis and Kelly do for the first ten minutes of their show every morning? Or even having the camera on one side of Katie's face for the short interview? It's kind of stupid reasoning, considering how often this soap deals with pregnant actress being shot from the neck up for months.

Hate, hate, HATE that Jack is on Brad's case about how he treats Katie. Doesn't Jack have enough on his plate, without going around making sure the world treats Fluffy like a precious piece of china? It's bad enough Katie isn't treated like the vile piece of ass she's been, running around getting her jollies by revenge and making everyone miserable because she torpedoed her own marriage. But having her be "rewarded" by stepping into Carly's life, when she virtually chased her out of town? Katie needs to be rehabilitated for a lot of people, and that's not going to get it done.

Lily's stupid. Honestly, those baby food women don't look like they even know what they're doing.

And can Paul please stop having these visions? They keep getting stupider. At least this one's less gory. Although I thought that was one fugly little teddy bear. It just looked evil. LOL.

I started watching but after reading your post I wonder if I should continue watching. Katie is beyond boring and pathetic. Jean Passanante needs the axe. What is CBS and PGP waiting for. She has ruined ATWT.

Well, Meggie made a nice little speech about how she's living at the Wagon Wheel to stand on her own two feet to Holden. It was nice seeing a Snyder family moment.

I think other peeps will probably like the Henry/Vienna stuff. I just want a real romance for Henry. I like Vienna and all, but she's about the only person in Oakdale more selfish than Katie...even if she is more honest about it.

Due to a very busy work schedule I missed it Friday. Usually that hour is a quiet time around the work place but it wasn't yesterday. I forgot to set the tape too - so I missed it. Glad I didn't miss much even though I would have loved to see Holden. We don't see much of him these days.

Well, I have mine on DVD and havent bothered to see it. And I dont know if I will. I am bored with ATWT once again. I wish major changes were made in HW. The show is not enjoyable anymore. The only hope I have is Luke's character. Even Lily is boring me to tears. And she is one of my favorites.

    • There probably would have been a good chance they knew of him, especially with his ties to Spaulding and his being involved in so much scandal (meaning there would be plenty of photos and articles around they both would have seen), but I agree the mask was silly, clearly just a TV moment.

    • I think all the suits are fit too tight, except for Jon Lindstrom's. DC lawyers/doctors are not all LA fashion elites. Yes, maybe Tomas would have a more modern cut to his suit, but an established guy like Bill wouldn't go around looking like that lonely button on his jacket was ready to explode constantly.
    • I do think there's room for optimism, especially with Amazon making enough new episodes to last until December. There's still time for the various players to get their ducks in a row. Guess we'll know soon enough!
    • I do agree it's better to just have people pop back into town. I never understood why Roger needed a mask on an island, when neither Fletcher or Alex would've known who he was. And the vine...sigh. Couldn't he have just been sent crashing through a window or something?
    • When the announcement was first made, I did wonder if other plans were in the works. I guess we can always keep hoping, especially as the show has a small core cast.
    • @chrismlAbout Lisa, agree to disagree. Actually at the time she was the only thing my partner & I disagreed about. Naturally she was Team Vicky while I was steadfast as Team Lisa.  About John & twin paternity, I think that like the 3 pillows was a transitory idea someone had that no one else agreed with. More of the attempt to accommodate Philece. About MJ, co-sign, 100% agree, if there were more degrees I would claim them. About Wally & Felicia, always a fan. Mitch? Eh, take or leave. Although I do agree that WGE is a really striking man. Who have I left out? I don't know so that's all I got.
    • RIP Wayne Lewis.

    • Dallas peaked early, IMO. Maybe not a fair statement as I’m still making my way through the first half of its run, but I think it’s hard to argue to point that S3 into S4 was its high point. Back to Knots. Wrapping up “And Never Brought to Mind.” Greg’s introduction kinda took me by surprise. I low-key dreaded his arrival bc I know he very quickly gets to the center of the show, but even though they wasted no time connecting him with Mac, Abby, Gary, and Karen, it still feels like a gradual intro. The juxtaposition of the ending of the Chip story with the heating up Abby’s plotting is quite symbolic of the changes the show was going through. I absolutely cannot imagine Kenny and Ginger having any part in any of this. Yall, the Gary/Val piano theme that they pull out from time to time is my FAVORITE. I find myself humming it constantly.
    • Bloodshed is inevitable now. It’s another reason I’m glad Black people aren’t getting involved in these protests. As awful as this is, I keep reminding myself that 54 percent of Latino men voted for Trump. These people were put in harm’s way by members of their own communities and sometimes even members of their own families. Too many people decided to touch the stove.
