February 27, 200719 yr Author Member I bet JER is trying to tie this in with the new Quentin Tarantino/Robert Rodriquez movie "Grindhouse". It hits theatres in April, around the time this story should start airing. It's two 1-hour long movies, and one of the movies stars Rose McGowan taking on a legion of zombies. In a publicity still for it, she and another girl are seen on a motorcycle with zombie carnage in the background. Not only is the movie GRINDHOUSE coming out in April, but so is the remake of Day of the Dead (sequal to 2004 Dawn of the Dead), as well as another Resident Evil movie (Resident Evil: Extinction). So with 3 zombie movies coming out... and the timeframe set for this storyline to air... it makes perfect sense. Hollywood is releasing three zombie movies around the relatively same time.
February 27, 200719 yr Member But this story makes too much sense with Charity's involvement...she'll obviously return to Harmony and save everyone from the zombies. I hope it's not a rumour...! I'm really excited now.
February 27, 200719 yr Member ...if there are already production photos, and this is February, what makes everyone think that we'll start seeing this on the air in April? How far ahead in advance does Passions tape?
February 27, 200719 yr Member ...if there are already production photos, and this is February, what makes everyone think that we'll start seeing this on the air in April? How far ahead in advance does Passions tape? Passions tapes about 6-8 weeks in advance. It's a longer gap than other soaps.
February 27, 200719 yr Member Four weeks, typically, but NBC soaps lose a week around X-mas/New Year's I believe and make it up the first few months of the year somehow. I think it is about three weeks now. Edited February 27, 200719 yr by King

I think it is about three weeks now. You say 3/4 weeks, and Rion says 6 - 8, LoL. I can't see Passions taping two months in advance. If so, they'll be lucky to have Liza Huber back before the finale!

Liza taped her last episode before maternity leave on December 15. That episode aired February 13. Even counting the two week Christmas break, it's still longer than the typical 4 weeks used by most soaps. Say Liza starts taping new eps on April 2nd...these eps would begin airing around the end of May. Edited February 27, 200719 yr by RionPassions

February 27, 200719 yr Member Didn't Dana Sparks first start work in October and she aired on November 2nd? Edited February 27, 200719 yr by King
February 27, 200719 yr Member Didn't Dana Sparks first start work in September and she aired on October 2nd? Her first ep aired November 2nd. Trust me on this, it was the most-anticipated day of 2006 for me!!
February 27, 200719 yr Member I thought I read somewhere that she wasn't coming back until summer? Maybe I was wrong. Hmm. No, I read she'll be back on screen by May. She's only taking a three-month leave like most of the Passions women. I expect that's when Daphnee Duplaix Samuel (Valerie) will return as well.
