Babe isn't innocent.

JR isn't innocent.

I just think people side with JR because he doesn't try to hide the fact that he's a jerk and he has more history with the show.

That's just the point.

The writing of the characters is inconsistent that it makes my head spin. I just don't like the back and forth of JR and Babe. They have run their course and need to move on. I mean, you have JR being a vindictive S.O.B. to Babe, but when he loses her, he wants her back and loves her. Then, you have Babe who tries to do well, but then sleeps w/ another man or does something else dumb. They are not innocent characters, and should not be made out to be. If Babe sleeps around, don't go crawling back to JR saying you still love him even after what you did. Don't be sorry for it, and go after the man you really want, not to stay for your son (which is what I sorta believe). And if JR hates Babe so much, kick her out, and not crawl back to her when she is in misery. He can still show some care for her b/c she is the mother of his child, but not rush to be back together with her.

It all falls back on the writing.
