Doctor gives stripper a hand -- literally

Fri Feb 2, 9:18 AM ET

NEW YORK CITY (Reuters) - A doctor pleaded guilty on Thursday to stealing a severed hand, which he gave to a stripper who displayed it in her New Jersey apartment.

Ahmed Rashed faces five years probation for stealing the hand in 2002 from a cadaver at a New Jersey medical school, an assistant prosecutor for Middlesex County said on Thursday.

Rashed practices medicine at a hospital in Los Angeles and stole the hand while studying in New Jersey, the prosecutor said.

The woman kept the hand in a jar of formaldehyde in her apartment where it was discovered by police during an unrelated investigation.

LOL! The sportscaster/Phylicia's ex name is spelled Ahmad Rashad and is not the doctor Ahmed Rashed discussed in this article.

There's certainly some creepy people in this world. How do you react to something like that. I mean, if somebody were to hand you a severed hand...

Oh goodness....I can't, oh well actually I can, since I've read so many strange reports lately, believe this. The world is getting sicker by the day. I mean, who gives some stripper a hand from the hospital?!
