Yeah I think there is definitely something to this.

Hogan did have plans for her and he did start the story with Abe's eyesight trouble. I wonder if this is setting up some big story. I also wonder if that was EJ in the car behind them with his high beams on. It was weird because they got hit head on by a vehicle yet such a big deal was made about the car in back of them. I know it caused their sight to be impaired but it just seemed weird. We all know EJ was on his back so I was just wondering if maybe that was him or one of his employees in back and he helped to drive them off the road to get rid of them to resurface.

All this seems so weird. If Tek turns up without Lexie or if we hear about them being somewhere, I have to wonder if maybe they have been kidnapped by the Dimera's or something. That would be good and then Lexie returns somehow acting like her true Dimera self

That would be awesome, and totally make sense. Much moreso than this seemingly illogical exit as of right now.

However, I still see no future for Abe and Lexie, then. Despite everything, I don't think Abe would forgive her for bringing the villain back to Salem.
