DAYS: "Unlikely to continue past 2009..."

Word is that Sony is furious with NBC about having to learn the fate of Days through the media...

Could an NBC/Sony war be in the works?

Anyway, it's great to know that Sony is behind the show!

Call me skeptical (partly because the source of info is not known and it may just be

a fan's wishful thinking). I just really doubt that

Sony has too high a stake in Days' future...it's a huge company

and they are making money in ventures all over the place. Days is barely on their

radar. I doubt they would make enemies at NBC or "punish" them for their statements

regarding Days' future. All Sony can really do in this case is find another venue

or network to air Days....if indeed they "care" that much.

Yes, I think it's entirely possible that Sony isn't so upset about Days cancellation... they're just upset about the way they found out. In which case we're still screwed.

Either way, I'm still glad Sony's upset, whatever their reason. To me, that's better than them not caring at all. But, I'm going to be an optimist on this one (ignorance IS bliss, you know), and believe that Sony will fight for DAYS. Even if Sony doesn't, Corday definitely will, so I'm gonna try not to panic just yet. Although, I'm still pissed beyond words at that a$$hat Zucker. Hopefully he'll be sacked soon anyway because of the sorry state of NBC.
