So now that we all know (or believe we know) that "Passions" is indeed canceled by NBC (cough*damnthemtohell*cough*jerks!) what about that OTHER rumor that drew large exposure on this board?

Remember when we heard that a "name" daytime actress would replace the role of a "Passions" vet?

I don't believe we ever really resolved this issue, did we?

And if they STILL replace or replaced that actress just MONTHS before the series finale, that would be a crying shame! All that continuity -- and then BAM! Stranger in the wrong role for a few months, and then series finale.

Honestly, I'm LIVID over the cancellation, but I'm even more pissed about the chance that there will be lost continuity due to that rumored recast.
