Oh, I am liking this Lindsay/Nora/R.J. scene! I am pleased that they are reigniting the Nora/Linds feud in this way, even if it's going to eventually revolve around Bo (at least, that's what I'm speculating). Better to get things rolling while Paige and Bo are still together, than to just have some triangle spring up should Paige and Bo ever disintegrate. Lindsay is always so petulant, and Cat plays that so well! Loved R.J. standing up for Nora after Linds made the coma remark :)

Unlike some, I don't mind Cris/Evangeline. I didn't really watch during the summer when they became hot and heavy, but I think they are sexy together, and I like Van putting him in his place today when he made his sexist, archaic comment.

Nice that somebody remembered that Jessica and Marty were friends; frankly, I'm surprised.

I actually do not dislike Christine Chambers. I'd prefer Susan Haskell, simply because I always prefer the original actor, but this woman feels like Marty to me.

I have no use for John's scenes.

The show is not bad these days ... I mean, if I'm enjoying a day with no Viki, Dorian, Clint, Blair, Todd, or Rex, then that says something.

I enjoyed today's show. I tried to get into OLTL last spring and I couldn't do it. Then I tried again about 6 weeks ago and I've been enjoying it quite a bit.

I liked it when Evangeline made Cris back up when they were having their argument. I think they are a pretty cute couple.

The Marty/Jessica scenes where good. I liked getting a feel for what's in Jessica's head. I feel sorry for Antonio because he's trying to be nice to Nash and help him, but I think he's digging his own grave. Nash is trying to be a friend back, but you just know he's not going to be able to stay away from Jess.

I can't get into John either. I like him so much more with Marty than with Nat though. Those two together just grate on me for some reason.

I really liked the Nora/RJ/Lindsay stuff, but the scenes were too brief. The whole thing spanned only about two or three minutes.

As much as John and Natalie annoy me, I did enjoy tricking him into taking his medicine, and telling him if he didn't take his medicine that "it was his funeral; oh wait, we've already done that!"

I liked Evangeline talking to Cristian like she was his mother too. :P

I too am glad they remembered a little bit of OLTL's history in that Marty and Jessica were friends.

I also liked Vincent and Shaun banging on Cristian's door. I liked when he opened it and Vincent says "you burned down my warehouse, you SOB!"

Talia is ok....she does seem to have a little chemistry with Antonio.

Nash and Layla are cute together...too bad he's starting to fall for Jess.

Bo was ok today...he even got to babysit John for Natalie.

I haven't seen today's ep yet but it sounds decent enough. I know this is crazy but I really, really want John and Marty to at the very least become friends. I am really not a John/Michael fan but I've noticed some sparks with Marty/Christina. I really like Natalie at times but she and John just don't have it these days.

And I really like Cris/Evangeline. I am not sure why some people hate them so much. I think David Fumero has really grown as an actor.

And yes I am a bit of a fan girl - sorry :P

I love Jess and Nash. I'm disappointed the marriage from hell ever took place and wish they would just move on with Jess and Nash and stop all these damn triangles. I really miss a lot of the Tess personality. She was so funny.

All-in-all I've enjoyed the show the last week or so. It was nice they remembered the Marty/Jess history. I hope it isn't a one note thing.

I loved seeing RJ/Nora and Lindsey. We really need more of that, and it was nice to see Bo in that orbit again.

Everytime I see Capricorn, however, I get a little angry. That is RJ's club and letting Antonio steal the club, get custody of Jamie under false pretenses and now being married to Jess, pisses me off. Antonio is NEVER held accountable for his lousy behavior. And, I really hate Java.

I can do without John. I really don't care who did what to Vincent or killed a character I don't know.

I'm liking NuClint and I like the chemistry between he and Viki. I don't want the triangle. There is no reason why Clint would hook up with Dorian, he should hate her. Viki also rode motorcycles, had fun and was alive with Ben. There is no reason now to paint her some kind of dried up old fuddy duddy who won't leave the house.

I don't mind Cris and Evangeline, but I really don't care about them either. I like them better than Evangeline and Todd.

TSJ is a great Todd and overall I like him. However, his most recent characterizations of whiney crying Todd is unpleasant. I would like to see the multi-dimensional bad boy/good boy seeking redemption. Also, let's see some Jess and Todd scenes and some Viki and Todd scenes.

Still, there are signs of a show I really like. I hope we see more of it. It's been bearable. That might only be because I am seeing more of characters and couples I like. Hopefully it will continue and expand.

Jess, I agree with your comments on Clint and Viki.

Here's a little preview for the week of the 22nd...Dorian is going to involve Linsday into helping her get what she wants.

Viki is not a dried up old fuddy puddy...and she's certainly not predictable either.

I am surprised but I've see a bit of a turn around in the past few weeks for OLTL. Getting rid of Claudia and Spencer will be a good start to repairing the show. Although Spencer isn't so annoying now for some reason. Maybe because everyone knows he's a dirty dog now ...

Oh, ITA....the remeberance of the Dorian/Lindsay friendship, reminds me of how in one of the episodes right before Christmas they remembered the Dorian/Carlotta friendship as well. This was when Carlotta came with Rex and Adriana to visit Dorian for Chrismtas.

And, this is all I'll say about it now, but Dorian tells Lindsay that if she will help her break up Viki and Clint, that Dorian will help her break up Bo and Paige. So it should be interesting.

This show seems to be moving in the right direction these days; I just hope it keeps it up.

    • Breakdown writers can pitch stories and obviously they have influence over what is included in the breakdown but MVJ is the final decision maker. It depends on the faith you have in MVJ if you feel Carlivati is going to be a problem. I don't think a throwaway having a book author named after him is a sign he's taken over the show. Most people didn't even catch the reference.
    • Tamara Tunie reading that damn letter is exactly why I wish this show had more experienced actors.

    • Oh wow. After reading your post, I realized that they had "Carl Ivati" in the script AGAIN yesterday June 6.    Eva said she was reading his latest, and Tomas said "Work's been so busy, I haven't had time to get into his new series". Then Eva proceeds to tell him that "the first book is called 'Mercy and Goodness' and it's all about how the couple first met and how they got separated".   She goes on and on about how great it is. And she says she has the book in her hotel room if he wants to borrow it. She says it has twists and turns. And meanwhile Kat is snooping in Eva's room to look for the helmet and gloves, and finds the book and dismisses it as "basic". I saw that whole scene -- but I wasn't paying attention to the name of the author.  And when Tomas said the name, I heard it in his accent so I didn't hear "carlivati".  II was mainly trying to see if the acting had improved with the actor playing Tomas, and I think he has improved somewhat.   I only see it when typed out. So they had several scenes yesterday about a "Carl Ivati" book?  Barf! Well at least Kat had the good sense to dismiss it as "basic". Ron Carlivati wrote the breakdown yesterday!   Featuring himself in it! Addressing to the collective "you" whoever you may be: Some of you, months ago, said Oh Ron is only doing breakdowns.  The story comes from MVJ, so he won't influence things, you said. May 27 started it, with Christopher Dunn breakdown and Lynn Martin script. But they didn't need to continue it June 6 with Carlivati breakdown and Jazmen Darnell Brown script.
    • I was completely lost. But it is wonderful that it exists. I didn't really know Robert Mandan had done soaps...well, besides SOAP.
    • Jack and Jennifer are tired. I just don't care about them when they return. They add nothing to the show.
    • Did they really bring back Jack and Jennifer for Jack to prop up Leo and Jenn to serve as an obstacle to Chad/Cat? Are we sure Ron still isn't in the building?
    • We can only hope that they finally kill off Leo too
    • We can only hope that maybe the new writers might read this.
