Saw this in the new SID:

CASTING REPORT

AMC has issued a casting call for a twentysomething Caucasian actress to play the role of Whitney, a sexy, fiesty and indepently wealty lady who just can't seem to find true love. The soap is hoping to have an actress in place by late January or early February.

Well, it's been like what, two weeks and AMC hasn't hired a newbie for a contract role? Gotta be a record. Must be time to fire oh, Michael E Knight or David Canary. Out with the old, in with the new. :)

wow....how generic.

Why dont they focus on giving Amanda, Dani, and Lady Di a decent story.

Hmmm....what happened to that sexy, fiesty, but *poor* girl that was working for the Chandlers?

Annie may look like Greenlee but she is the polar opposite of Greenlee.

I hope they don't recast either, RB was NOT the problem with Greenlee, it was the set up for her and Rylee and the sickening way they turned her into a stepford wife (in other words boring!).

WORD! You are exactly right.

I don't think it would be a Greenlee re-cast. Since they went ahead and referenced that Annie looks like Greenlee, they would have to hire someone who looks like Rebecca and Melissa Egan.
