I think I've said this before, but, here goes. In my opinion someone (know not who) is specifically blocking any major trimming of the cast. This theoretical person (or persons) likes having a humongous cast & also probably likes being able to rotate among so many different people. I have a theory about who this is but that's all it is. I think it's Varni & the reason I think that is because I have long thought he doesn't know his hat from a door handle when it comes to soaps or to soap fans. But, if it's not Varni, it's gotta be someone from Disney. To me it is clear they won't let people who know what they're doing to cut 15 people from this bloated cast. And, this is more than enough opinion from me. Please, if you agree that it is someone, who do you think it is?

I agree. Diane's hair has always looked funny. But, today, I was very glad that self-respect was on Diane's mind. I was surprised, though, at the vulnerability she showed. Another thing, about Diane, for 2 days (at least I think time is passing) she has been the most kind, considerate, thoughtful friend to Alexis. I knew they considered each other besties but I had no idea Diane had it in her to be this kind of friend!!

I'm glad you said this. Your previous comment IMO did sound negative. I just looked at my list of 15 & a whopping 7 once wrote at AW. Of course, I should not find that surprising. Phillips co-created it & then later she sent Nixon to it. Nixon, in turn, saved the show. She really was that adaptable. And, when you think about it, when she began she was only 18 years old. And, Anna Stuart realized quickly that she was very young & that she hadn't had much nurturing, so she stepped up. She mentored, nurtured, and she's said that many times Anne ate what she ate & what they had together in her dressing room. Yes, you're describing Rachel to a tee. What's confusing? I get the impression that you think Iris is a narcissist. I saw this line today that just blew me away. It read, "A narcissist will blame you for what they did."

So, as an appreciative new viewer, tell me, what characters do you find most interesting?

I loved their visit today & the reason was mainly because it showed me a mature Liz who has a realistic perspective on what to expect, or not, from Jason. Recently I have also enjoyed seeing her humor & her Head Nurse vibe.

Apparently they've both recently spoken about having scenes together again after the holidays. So, today, they leave together, a la Casablanca, but they'll be back together after the New Year. I don't know if this came out of an interview, or a zoom, or what, etc. Maybe someone else knows.

Well, you know, I happen to agree with Alexis, in this case. She & I & unknown others, are of the opinion that when push came to shove that Kristina would have come to her senses & not gone through with her plan. You might recall that Ali was totally against the idea of her & Krissy having a baby, any baby, at least not at this time. I believe that would have entered into Krissy's final decision, that is, if things had gone another way.

I know a lot of people who think that Kristina was different with Blaze. Among other things we think she was more mature with Ali, or perhaps better said, mature at all with Blaze. Anyway, I would submit to you that we did see Krissy in a good place but ONLY when she was part of Kraze. The rest of the time she reverts to plain old poor me Krissy. A selfish, narcissist.
