I want to interject here that I am loving this discussion. Hooray for the constructive criticisms! And, some of the unintended humor is a real delight. Plus, some of these people did do good things. Pam Long, when Beverlee needed a job created Alexandra for her. How remarkable is it that we got to have that actress playing that character?!!!

Supposedly DAYS lost one year to a "warehouse fire". But, also supposedly, DAYS never wiped. If true, they should have almost all. But, these are things we don't actually know.

Oh, not me. I wonder if this means I'm becoming woefully cynical. When he ... pausing for dramatic impact ... said he loved her, I groaned, rather loudly. Of course, my reaction to Drillow lately is all about frustration. She does whatever someone else tells her to do. Sometimes Drew. Sometimes Nina. Thus far she doesn't seem to count Martin among those when he should be. I was so glad Michael kinda addressed this. If you ask me, the show should have been bringing up the cult, Harmony, Shiloh, etc. Only Michael truly loved this woman enough to give her space, let her make her own decisions, never pushed her, or pressured her & look what he got for his trouble?!!!

@MaximThanks for your explanation. I'm aware of the reuploaded special content AOL episodes from the past, that amazingly still exist. And, also I think what Bradley Bell has done is remarkable. I was shocked to learn that Corday said that they began modern digitizing of the DAYS archive about 10 years ago. If true, and they have continued doing so, they should have a considerable body of HD quality & considering some of the flashbacks that would seem to me to be accurate.

There seems to be a lot of discussion among some fans at least as to what the show is presenting. Cameron, for example, is putting it out there that Drillow is a valid couple & even suggested they might become the next Luke & Laura. Then, there are also questions about Jason and ... HA. So many. Let's count them down. Jason & Anna - To me they're partners & friends. No way we're gonna have romance between Jason & Robin's mother. Jason & Sasha - I don't get it. Why? What? Jason & Liz - Now I truly do not see why there are still these fans. Liz has Lucky & also Ric. When is 3 too much? Jason & Carly - Everyone knows that the Jarly, Unicorn, Count to 10, fans exist. Everyone knows that supposedly Korte loves this couple. Everyone knows that the show is afraid to pull the trigger & see what happens. And, I won't even remind everyone of their marriage. Jason & Emma ... SCREECH. Okay, we'll stop there at the most ridiculous mention of all. BTW, I think Drillow is nothing but f*ckbuddies & Cam is possibly losing his mind. Luke & Laura? Laughable.

If I'm right she's going to be furious. I've been thinking about your Calm Joss Theory. People always say that people grieve differently & I think that's true. I wonder if Joss only seems calm & inside is reeling. I know I am that way. The madder I get, outwardly, the calmer I get, also I become unfailingly overly even polite. When Roger Newcomb curated PGP Special Classic Episodes of ATWT & GL for P&G, he said that even then with those episodes, music rights was an issue. In at least a few instances they had to drop a choice & go with another choice. USA network played both EON & SFT in reruns. BET played GENERATIONS after its conclusion several times. @MaximGenerally, people have the hope that there's better quality in existence than what is typically found on YouTube.

I highly doubt that is a factor. The regs about that were very different way back when, changed gradually over time. So, BITD, those people might get something small or nothing. Even now actors talk about getting checks that are hilarious. The costs, which are considerable, would largely come from the digitizing itself, along with whatever else would go into curating, whether that would be title cards, or organizing them to stream perhaps in storyline rather than just chronological & then, all of those episodes have to be on servers. Because the number of episodes involved is large, then that's a heckuva lot of servers. The shows with fewer episodes have an advantage in that way.

If you look at her total path of destruction you see she is playing a high stakes game. Someone was questioning how she ended up at AW ... that, in 95 was when P&G played musical chairs with the EPs where Laurie Caso got left out in the cold.

No, Brennan doesn't want him dead. Colette was acting on her own, actually against orders & Brennan, admonished her for doing so, as he should have. Same experience. I wasn't paying attention to Brad & then he really drew my attention to him, exploded is right! I really enjoy that we can have such a variety of experiences with the same content. That speech at Dex's bedside, to me was very moving & emblematic of a way that Joss feels she had growth with Dex. Of course, I continue to nurse my personal theory that Dex is alive.
