Yes, that picture that was so clearly NOT TOM! I thought it was hilarious & a friend who is a huge fan of Tom's used to make fun of it regularly referring to it as the "Cali-notTom-guy", etc. I'm sure I could do a Bing Image search & find NotTom now - but, I won't. Anyway, I am wondering if this means Tom's homeless. I do so hate that this has happened to him. A friend who lives in Palm Springs (and he & his husband are safe) sent me the link & I'm so glad he did. Of course, I hate it for everyone who is hit with it whether we know who they are or not. I wonder who different ones of us think they/we are friends of! Do some consider themselves Rachel's friend? Or Felicia's? Or Vicky's? I was complaining about the way they've handled John's absence & saying why I thought the important ISA mission was a bad idea & someone challenged me saying just what would I have done differently. And, I said that I would have had John have a mysterious disappearance, perhaps he had been kidnapped, or perhaps he had had an accident & then had amnesia & didn't know who or where he was, etc. but the point would be that there would have been no contact & there would have been concern, then alarm & a search would have ensued. I realize this is tangential at best to what you're asking about Catarina & about Abby but it seemed to be the first time I've thought it made sense to post this.

For me I'm not sure if "enjoy" is the word I'd select for Drillow right now. It's not that I don't have an appreciation for the soapy messy goodness of it all because I do & sleazy scumball Drew is the most interesting Drew which counts for huge points but wish we were having some exploration of his manipulating her & her acting like some kind of blank slate who has to be told what to think & feel, etc. Loved the Joss/Willow confrontation & Joss's rejoinder to Willow alleging that Michael made mistakes, too, was definitely the Line of the Day for me! Loved Carly/Drew confrontation as well. Oh, and yesterday I had a first! I liked Curtis. The day before I'd had another first, I liked Brad! To me, right now GH is giving really good soap!

I don't know if this is going to be a Lone Ranger idea or not but I have always thought that Cam & Joss's relationship was destroyed by Esme's sex tape so I don't think of Joss in the same way as some of you do. Yes, it would have been better if she had had a conversation with Cam at a certain point & she didn't but they're just kids. And, yesterday I was cheering Joss as she dragged Willow.

I know that he married a third time & they had 2 daughters together before they divorced. Also DAYS had a short-term role for him at one point but scheduling it did not work out.

So many episodes results in it being an expensive proposition. Digitizing, curating, then putting the episodes up on servers, which are an equipment cost, etc. Disney also owns Santa Barbara.

When asked what kind of a soap opera writer James Lipton was, I am quick to reply that he is an amazing host/interviewer of INSIDE THE ACTORS' STUDIO. Then I add that Chapter 8 of his book INSIDE INSIDE is devoted entirely to actors he interviewed who did soaps as well as primetime or movies.

Jake & Vicky went through times when they were lovers & times when they were best friends & I'm not going to continue because I don't want to spoil future them for you. But, they came to Bay City together as partners in a plot to get revenge on Marley for having this privileged life Victoria was denied. Of course, Marley grew up thinking she was Donna's younger sister, not daughter, so Jake & Vicky didn't know what all they didn't know!!!! If you tell someone about the future it's a spoiler. If you tell someone about the past, which is what I just did, does it have a name? I guess it's recapping.

So, the soap on NETWORK wasn't a real thing. It was just part of a fairly typical Diana rant, "NBC has daytime locked up with all their lousy game shows. I want to knock them down. I'm thinking about doing a homosexual soap opera, 'The Dykes', the tragic story of a woman in love with her husband's mistress."

I'm coming up empty. Perhaps I will hit upon it later but at this point, I'm going to have to say I'm sorry but I must have been mistaken.

Not only that but I have not even garnered a single nomination! (Always ready to joke around.)

Well, I'd choose the word "damage" & ANOTHER WORLD which might seem odd since she was only there for 2 years but I believe it to be so. However, I also acknowledge the immense damage she did at GL. OLTL is a more general sense of bad things done. AW has the money spent on a terrible new opening & problematic new sets, the character damaging Sharlene/John/Felicia debacle, the death of Ryan & the gruesome onscreen murder of Frankie Frame which was one of those rare occasions when many stalwart fans left & for them, effectively AW ended with the murder of Frankie & not June 1999.

I am a consistent, vocal critic based on her tenures at GL, AW & OLTL. I place her in the company of Brian Frons & Susan D. Lee.

I think the thing I was trying to get across, that I failed to do, was assert that she is one of these people who galvanizes reactions. You don't seem to find people in the middle when it comes to her, they're on the extreme ends.

Ya know I pointed out that she's been hired so many times but that she's also been fired so many times. Two sides of that coin. The same kind of thing is true as to people's reactions to her & assessments of her. There are certainly people who are very critical of her & dislike her immensely, but, the other side of that coin also exists since there are people who praise her to the moon & back & just totally adore her. She provokes strong opinions & reactions but it's neither all negative nor all positive.

The last I knew Amanda Setton was not pregnant IRL but time has passed & she might be now. Sofia Mattson is pregnant IRL. (Sasha) I thought that this was known & had been stated. If not, apologies. When do you think it changed for you? It's kind of crazy to me, to think of how long LW has been playing this role! I think my favorite things about LW's Carly are that there's been enough time & enough differences in the writing that we've seen real change in Carly with some of that being growth & some of it just being difference. And I also love that she is one of the biggest cheerleaders of the show & of her colleagues that I think I've ever seen on any soap. Last, I love that she has such an excellent attitude about her character's haters & in general fans on social media. Yesterday she had made a positive post about her & Steve, as friends & colleagues on the show & some poster posted that they did not like Carly & Jason & she replied, "Why do you follow me then?" and I literally did laugh out loud.
