The reveal when Iris admits to Mac that she was “The Chief” of Bennett Publishing that was trying to take over Cory Publishing. What made this all the more shocking was Douglass Watson’s real life death a few weeks later. The AW writers played it as Mac having a heart attack because of Iris’ betrayal. The father and daughter never reconciled before Mac’s death.

BTG needs to start inserting some P&G Easter Eggs into the show. Have a subtle reference or message that the police department has received information that blood plasma has been reported missing at the following hospitals Bay City General, Oakdale Memorial, and Springfield Cedars. Mention the chief of staffs at these hospitals in passing- Dr. Jamie Frame, Dr. Chris Hughes, and Dr. Rick Bauer. How about Felicia Gallant writing a biography of Anita Williams Dupree for Cory Publishing? Josh or Billy Lewis coming to Washington DC for some type of oil legislation The characters don’t even have to been seen- just mention with a nod and a wink to P&G history.

Was it me or was Jennifer Holliday doing some bad lip syncing today? It looked liked some bad anime program that was dubbed into English - where the lips didn’t match the words. I expected better, but it was nice to see Holliday drop in to support Anita.

Maybe just maybe, Tomas will catch Hayley, Randy, and Lynette plotting against Bill. As he attempts to leave, the trio will accidentally kill Tomas. This would be the easiest way to get rid of the character, and it would be a good plot twist on how the trio of crooks would get rid of Tomas’ body.

Yes- ABC did express interest in AW and when that didn’t happen, they wanted to get characters from the show. That didn’t happen either. I’ve always thought that Disney wanted the show to place on Soapnet, which would debut 6 months- January 2000- after AW’s cancellation.

I got a bad feeling that Naomi’s life will be in danger while Jacob is undercover.

According to AWHP, Gloria Metcalf was played by Rosetta LeNoire, who would go on to play Mother Winslow on Family Matters.

I think the writers having Derek become unhinged is a red herring to throw off viewers. Just guessing but I believe that it will be revealed that Grayson is a bad guy involved in the blood plasma ring. He will turn out to be the one unhinged.

On Christmas Eve, Rachel was at the house to clean up and redecorate the house after Aunt Liz’s Christmas tree had started a fire in the house on the previous Friday cliffhanger. Mark Singleton was in a wheelchair and walked when he saved someone in the house from the fire. I’m thinking it might have been Kevin Thatcher he rescued.

The one May 1984 episode of AW that has never surfaced on YouTube is the episode where Peter finds out Cecile was in cahoots with Donna to break up his engagement with Sally and that Cecile was marrying him for money. This causes Cecile and Donna to have a fist fight in the Love drawing room. At the end of the episode, Cecile gives her famous “As God is my witness, I’ll never tell the truth again” speech.
