An 8-episode first season adaptation of the fantasy series/online game is coming. I've never read it but sounds very interesting, and my second husband, Henry Cavill, will star.

I finally finished BLOODLINE. Generally speaking, it was satisfying.

Currently binging DYNASTY Season 8 for the first time.

Bryce was husband material. The end! 

Imagine finally getting to visit Hobbiton and running into Twin Peaks cast while there! I would have died.

This is great to hear. I loved her when I used to watch the Today show and hated the way things ended. I hope this is a success for her.

Patrick Stewart will reprise his role as Jean-Luc Picard for a new Star Trek series! Wow wow wow.

Halfway through Season 4. What a phenomenal season it is so far. Not a single bad story. Very pleasantly surprised with Andrea's late 'bloom' and unexpected pregnancy. I never felt the show was giving her something good enough to do, and this against-type story has worked wonders and evolved perfectly.

David's drug addiction has also been much better than I thought it would. It may not be over yet, but I loved how they had David's almost-arrest scare him straight. 

I didn't know Clare showed up this early.

Spelling has really improved. And Brenda, ironically, is more interesting than ever.

And Brandon/Kelly? Hmmm. They're setting it up very well so far.

I hope this continues. I will be sad to see this season end. This is what I have been waiting for!

Absolutely goddamn stunning song and performance (the voice does not belong to the actress).

It almooooost makes me want to watch the movie.

Not what I was expecting - Cher, who stars in the Mamma Mia sequel, just announced her next album will be all covers of ABBA songs.

I wanted new material, but that could be very, very good.

Christopher Meyer (TJ, GH) is recurring on season 4 of Showtime's THE AFFAIR.

He looks great and, from what I've seen so far, is very, very good.

TWIN PEAKS gets shut out of most Emmy nominations. Most egregious: Nothing for McLachlan or TP as a limited series. You can argue that this was or wasn't sorta/kinda expected, but still... 

At least episode 8 is getting some recognition.

Coop's return was exactly what I thought it would be. As soon as we saw him again, he didn't need to say a word: Just with the acting, you knew it was back. And then they played the theme music... Such a wonderful payoff. Classic soap opera - make them wait, make them frustrated, pay it off.

Speaking of pay off, all the Chantal/Hutch stuff was worth it for that outrageous, hilarious scene with the accountant who killed them, the stupid FBI agents, and the Mitchum brothers wondering what the hell kind of neighborhood it is.

Diane being manufactured genuinely shocked me. What a twist. I guess we never did meet her after all....

Janey-E realizing this isn't Dougie and thanking him anyway was very touching and the Mitchum brothers being told they have hearts of gold was oddly moving. 

And, of course, Audrey's dance with that unpredictable ending that still made sense in retrospect. A classic Twin Peaks cliffhanger.

Nadine/Ed/Norma: Tears. Just tears. How he played with the viewers, making us think it wasn't going to happen after all, and then... So happy.

And saying goodbye to Margaret was heartbreaking.

Monica Bellucci!! Albert and Tammy initially thinking Gordon had a sex dream about her!!!

That great stuff with Andy and the Fireman.

The totally out of the blue story about the power glove.

And Sarah's... um... 

Wow. Just wow.

Also, terrific song at the end.

You probably can't do any better than Nadia's Theme (with drawings or people, up to 1999). Just timeless, beautiful, classic.

(Bonus mention to Jill's epic hair toss from the porn opening).
