I'm close to the mid-June episodes and now I have to completely agree: The show is hella boring.

Yparxei Logos... Oh, I just absolutely love that song!
Right now I'm listening to Sugababes' first album

Can't say I agree at all--the show is very brilliantly and consistently written. The Ken & Martha affair storyline, resolution and repercussions were just amazing.

The work from everyone in the fallout of Colin's secrets being revealed was brilliant, especially Sue Cleaver (Eileen).
Absolutely.... she has been amazing.
The storyline is brilliant; so much fun!
And Ken/Martha/Deirdre... wow, just wow.

No-one's watching?
CORRIE on Friday was absolutely fantastic--top of the line soap, so many emotions, nuances, great characterization, just absolutely marvelous.

It's funny because I have always had a soft spot for PZ and her songs... I've seen her live, she was good. Indeed, great song, and the video is just what I expected it to be

Not bad. Never heard it before
I've met TNS... Very hot, but also major junkie
That video isn't half bad.....

Right, right: no matter what she drinks, it won't help.
Hm... I'd have to think about it... Any suggestions?
What, and how much
I'd have to think about it, too... I know I've seen a few good ones, but they all escape me now.

So true!
The translation is kind of confusing, especially
How will it help me whatever I drink
How will it help me one kiss and one cigarette
but hey...
Haste hasn't helped.
Well, basically it says that she can drink all she wants, and she may get a kiss or smoke, but it will still not help....
Have you seen any Greek videos that you did like?

This would be a literal, unpolished translation, with mistakes probably...
The last sunset
My last evening with you
It's strangely turbid, like a lie
How will it help me whatever I drink
How will it help me one kiss and one cigarette
I want to put you in one embrace
This summer will be lost in the rain
And the dream you saw won't come true — the two of us together
This summer will be lost in the rain
And the dream you saw won't come true — the two of us together
The last sunset
My last evening together with you
I want the see to get the form of you
You left so suddenly
And I remembered our first night
And the tears came again, in the darkness
This summer will be lost in the rain
And the dream you saw won't come true — the two of us together
This summer will be lost in the rain
And the dream you saw won't come true — the two of us together
And the dream you saw won't come true — the two of us together...
So sad... And the video... Greek videos suck.
Sorry, I had to say it. Such a beautiful song, ruined with this awful, awful video. Something much more sophisticated and elegant was needed. Same goes for her song I Am Here.
That's not a bad translation at all! But, yeah, Greek videos absolutely suck! And, I must tell you, this is not even one of the worst

A soap should be like this Greek song... Full of longing and dreams that did not come true...
Ah, yes, it's the perfect recipe!
(I can't believe they actually show the model's penis! How sexy!)

Graeme is just fantastic--great fun!

Britney in her 50's attire I think was the sexiest I've ever seen her!

The Becky/Steve reunion and the subsequent catfight with Michelle were great fun! The actress who plays Becky is just PHENOMENAL. Not sure how I feel about Ben/Sophie's Christianhood storyline yet, hope it turns out OK. And I'm loving Julie's dilemma.

I'm a couple of weeks behind, but the Tony/Carla confrontation was ace and the Macaroon debate was comic gold. I can't wait to see more of this Gary vs David thing, it seems like it may be boiling to something spectacular. Len is so creepy.

I tried watching again a few weeks back and I found it utterly impossible. I didn't recognize half of the cast, and I just gave up.

The "Victor Theme" reminds me of "Victor, don't go! DON'T GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!"
Is it the same score? I really am not sure.

This is also one more breathtaking Y&R score (And may I also say: How sweet is that scene??? Aaaaaw!
):
This music was most recently used when Kay visited Victor at the hospital, while Sabrina was still alive.

Talk about some wonderful, powerful music. I love that they use so much of the score, I've never heard so much of it before. It really is heartbreaking, so much of Y&R's music is. God, we need a full soundtrack so badly! This one is from October 14.......it's so good!0 -
^^I think that's actually a good enough cover!
The song is not bad, but I'm not crazy over it either. I think it's fun and it has the potential of becoming a hit. But the true success, I think, is the video. It's a Britney that's more confident, more beautiful, and with a nice video. Clever to use "Toxic's" director, one of her best videos.
Her first two, maybe three, albums will always have a special place in my heart because of all the memories....

I watched the first two episodes, but just couldn't get into it.... I found them extremely slow and boring (and, believe me, I love slow pace) apart from the Iris scenes.... I kinda gave up after that.

I think that she would have been a horrible fit--on paper, Lucy moving and staying in KNOTS LANDING would be a perfect fit. However, Tilton would not be able to support the character-driven stories that the writers would require for her, so either she would have been written out or she would have been relegated to a simple plot point. And, don't get me wrong: I loved the early days of Lucy, were she was spoiled, bratty, bitchy and would give it to J.R. as hard as she got it. But after she turned into a whiny, poor-me princess whore, then barf.

I completely agree--I am loving the story, for a variety of reasons. Yes, it is highly plot-driven, and to an extent predictable that the pregnant-damsel-in-distress falls in love with her husband's killer while carrying the husband's child but it is being helped by the extremely slow pace that they have been developing this story. It's fun to see how they are using her loneliness to sort of have Maria lean on Tony and I especially agree about him genuinely caring. I wouldn't say either one of them has feelings yet, but I think there's a mutual liking, guilt from Tony's side, and need from Maria's.
