Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
RHOA: Two things I'll say: Nene's comments about Brandon were disgusting. She just kept going and going, and it became worse as she went. SMH at all of them putting the blame squarely on Kenya. (Yep, still think bitch should have stayed sitting. Still think Chris was DEAD WRONG for grabbing her like that--he could have just put his body between Kenya and his wife if he was so worried). But NO blame put on Apollo? He gets away with it?

The Walking Dead: Discussion Thread
Terrific return. The insight into Michonne's past life. Seeing a walker that reminded her of herself. Breaking down and killing all the walkers. Returning to follow Rick & Carl's tracks. The little monologue she had. Her reaction to finding them. Brought me to tears several times throughout the episode. Carl is growing into quite the performer, isn't he? I LOVED his monologue while Rick was sleeping/unconscious. So much psychological damage & hurt. And, yet, he still retains a playfulness (the writing on the door, the chocolate pudding). The "oh, sh!t" cliffhanger was terrifying, as was fighting the walker in the house. And that little scene where he thought Rick turned. Great work. Rick is so destroyed, in so many ways. Is he really weak? I've never thought of it this way. The writing has managed to keep him away from that exalted stereotype of the ruthless, strong man and he is ten times more fascinating for it. When he has to make the tough decisions, it has even more impact. In the end, Rick's still human, with a heart, with conflicting emotions, and a position he doesn't necessarily want to have. I am so thankful he's not the male lead caricature that so many want him to be. And the way they did the ending was unexpected. Such a ray of light among all the bleakness.

I think he's probably too busy figuring out what to do with his hair or trying to tame it. Who has time for an album? lol

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Jill Zarin bugging, demanding and draining the sh!t out of someone? NEVER!!! I can totally see that as a reason. Plus, she is a vile ho. Alex & Simon were WTF-worthy enough to justify their existence until their shtick became old and they could hardly generate any story, so I could see him not liking them.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Hmmm. I'm not surprised that ratings would be high for NYC Season 4. It does make it a little more difficult to explain why, as a corporation/brand, they decided to reboot. HOWEVER, I am not surprised they did it because my experience as a viewer watching it was that it had gotten so dark, so nasty, so vile, so UN-entertaining, that, besides the trainwreck quality to it that kept me watching until the end of the season, I would have dropped the show in Season 5 if the drastic changes hadn't taken place. It'd be surprising if similar feedback led them to a creative change that wasn't impacted or fueled by ratings, aka money. Now, did the changes have to be so drastic? Not really. They could have been smoother/more drawn out. But what I saw is that the people who, I, as a viewer, could not stand anymore were thrown out, with precision, no remorse, and no long, drawn-out, "we know they're getting cut" drama. Besides, I'm afraid that keeping all those Housewives while introducing new ones= too large a cast, and slowly writing one out while introduced another= would take too long. So, yeah, they made a brilliant decision in cutting that poison out. Seems they were convinced enough, for some reason or another, that the risk was worth it. The ratings will go up again now that almost all the Housewives have been around for a season and they've had a lot of time to work on it, provided it's a good season. I really do hope so.

http://youtu.be/jKE096tyspw I just got to see this. Wow, Barbara was at her cold-hearted, bitchiest, cuntiest best here. My God, how can you even dare be so judgmental, nasty and condescending right out there in the open? "I know what your problem is" "You yell at your son like that?" BITCH, GTFO. I wouldn't have talked about this on air if I were Wendy but she did, it happened, and I see what she means. She's going through that tough phase were she has to be the enforcer to an often difficult teenager while the dad gets all the cool points & doesn't experience the negativity the mother does. For some of these bitches to criticize and/or pretend they don't get that. Ugh. LOL What else would she talk about, if not the Housewives? Syria? Ukraine? I would die if that day came

If she stood up to look Christopher in the eye, then she missed him by several feet. Did she need a map?

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Oh Lord..... "You need to be Porshasexual if you’re with me" “Once a heathen always a heathen, that’s why she’s Kenya Morewhore” “Is she going to tuck before she dances, because she looking like a man” Nene must have been on something, strutting up and down like that. It seems to me she was looking to justify her existence. Kenya should not have gotten up and charged at Natalie, end of. She could get up and address Bronx Man if she had to, since he did anyways, but she looked like she was about to start a catfight. Bronx Man should have reacted better than grabbing her. He could have just put himself between Kenya & Natalie and that would have been it. Apollo is one gorgeous man but God is he one dumb f.ck. And that's the least of it. Attacking someone because he accidentally hit you in the eye while in a fight with someone else? REALLY? And that's IF I believe that happened. He might have just been looking for a fight. Papa Smurf gives me the chills every time I see him. Not the good kind. I feel like I'm looking at pure evil & that is not a good feeling to have. Kenya's friend handled it all extremely well. And then Apollo's going back for more. Cannot wait for the next episode.

Wow that was a pretty unexpected but very touchingly human moment from her. I can't even begin to imagine how it must feel like for a mom to be sort of shunned by her own kid.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Watched this week's ATLANTA. Was really entertained throughout, although I know very little about these women and their relationships (I think this is the 3rd episode I've ever watched). That poor Natalie was eviscerated. First by Kenya & then by Kandi. My God, Kandi going on about how hot she is and such was really fantastic.

HBO's Looking
The pilot was pretty good. Looks like it could develop into something awesome. There were a lot of relatable moments & things that rung true. And some of the lines were truly hilarious. I didn't see any problems with pacing, Chris. I don't know what would have constituted a better pace. Within one episode they set up stories, we saw a journey for each of the three leads, and a climax that is meant to lead to more drama down the road. I would like them to adjust the tone a little bit. It's a little too somber/serious for a show that bills itself as comedy/drama and therefore it works against all the scenes that are supposed to be lighthearted chatter and funny. Other than that, I didn't see any issues. I thought the acting was excellent. All three main actors, as well as the guest stars, did amazing work. All this brouhaha made over diversity and, in the end, out of the 5 guys we see, 3 of them were non-white.

The implications of this are so vast, and so horrid, that I don't even have words. We are heading towards a dark path if this actually comes to pass.
