The Walking Dead: Discussion Thread
This was a fantastic episode. So many great moments with Gabriel, Glenn, Noah and Eugene (ugh, I hate saying that). Eugene finally grew up and become something less than useless. I'm glad he stood up to Aiden's friend. These Alexandrians need to get better at protecting themselves and learn how to LISTEN. It hasn't dawned on them yet that Rick's group knows what they're doing? Noah said he had dreams about the future? I should have known he wouldn't survive. His death was really, really graphic and horrid. His "don't let go" was heartbreaking and so much more than just a plead to save his life. The exploding walker was awesome. And Francine kicked some ass. Gabriel. His psychotic warning about Rick's group got me SO angry. Ugh. That f-cker!

I love how every episode starts with a one of the characters' private psychological distress moments. They may have an easier life now but the suffering hasn't ended. He caused that walker to explode! Damn.

Everyone commenting on Rick's face was predictable but pretty funny. The best part of the whole episode was Carol pretending to be some kind of supreme housewife and then telling Daryl to take a shower, who tells her that she looks ridiculous in her suburban goddess outfit. I love the idea that it is Rick's group (so far) that is actually the threat. It seems they could easily take over the whole community. I'm loving Alexandria because obviously something's going to go wrong but I have no idea what. And Enid is mysterious enough to keep me guessing, although I don't know if I'm up for Carl teenage romance angst.

All My Children Tribute Thread
Just got done with the episodes dealing with Erica's trial in 1994. It was a fun story and definitely a big Erica moment, although also the only major thing the show had going for itself. I just had to laugh and laugh when Erica decided the way to come back from the whole attempted murder mess is to return to modelling. I mean, really. There was a really touching scene following Erica's acquittal and Bianca being sent back to school where Erica quietly broke down crying in her living room. Such a beautiful, humanizing moment. I didn't think the show was capable of it, or making me feel emotion. The other major story is Janet's return, bubbling under the surface, but it's not there yet. I am loving Robin Mattson as Janet's new face. She's very beautiful and plays the material pitch-perfectly. I'm excited to see everyone find out who she is which, based on the show's plot driven nature, should be within the next couple of months. Other than this, the show doesn't have all that much going for it. Dimitri has just found out that Anton is his son but decided at the last minute not to tell him which I could tell you would happen a month ago when Edmund and Maria arrived in Hungary and the storyline started. There is literally nothing surprising or not guessable here. The story was spelled out as soon as Edmund and Maria overheard Corvina crying. Still, enjoyable enough, although I can't get over Corvina literally begging Edmund over and over and over and over and over again not to tell Dimitri and Edmund's response was to stare at her blankly and then tell Dimitri. He's supposed to be a nice man? LOL Del is a weird one. He arrives in the lovely form of Winsor Harmon and sort of stalks Dixie for a few episodes for some reason but then they haven't followed through with it and have thrown him into Erica and Kendall's orbits. Maybe he just wanted material for his book, although it was never made clear. Not sure what to say about the Terrence/Julia/Taylor stuff. Julia just generally annoyed me for almost two months, until she ran into Anton in the park and revealed a softer side to her and that helped a lot. Although, I don't know why she's so relaxed running into a six foot two man whom she barely knows while all alone in the park at night. I'd be a little worried. Palmer and Opal are mainly used as comedic relief as they run the Chicken Shack or whatever the hell it's called. I don't know why, but it feels a little weird. Is this the best they can do for them? I adore Kendall, although SMG continues to confuse me--I can never make up my mind on whether she's great or trash. The show really has some balancing issues. Apart from the main stories, which get heavy play, Tad, Dixie, Brooke, even Palmer and Opal, have gotten very little airtime, disappearing sometimes for weeks on end. It has also become readily apparent that it's all fairly plot-driven. I just had to roll my eyes at Jack and Erica starting to have feelings for each other again just as Trevor and Laurel started to have feelings for each other. Somebody must have realized they needed more story soon, so suddenly Trevor's son thinks Laurel is the sh!t and oh-so-subtly points out to Trevor that she's the mother he doesn't have. Jesus, this all started like 10 episodes ago!

The Walking Dead: Discussion Thread
Been catching up -- seen up to Tyreese's death. Daryl burning the mother/daughter walkers for Carol's sake was wonderfully touching and said a lot about their relationship. I kinda hate to say it but Rick was f*cking hot as he handled the business with the hospital. Yum. They did such a good job turning Beth around and making me like her more than ever before killing her off. It wasn't all that surprising that she died but I loved the way they scripted and executed the scene. Seeing Carol and especially Daryl cry broke my heart. Maggie gave wonderful reaction to both finding out Beth was alive and then when she saw her body. Morgan again! Yay. The directing for Tyreese's death episode was fantastic as hell. Great seeing all the past characters and enjoyed the fact that they tricked us into thinking it was Beth's funeral when it was Tyreese's. Coleman gave a phenomenal performance, especially the "it's not over yet!" part. Carol is my boo. I don't know if there's anyone I love more on this show than her. I had to quote this because it was hilarious how I was *just* thinking that I miss Shane and his hotness and the very first thing I see when I click on the thread to catch up is THIS. Also, look at him. Just look at him.

Britney Spears 'slowly but surely' working on a new album that is NOT her main priority right now. Well, at least she might release something that is not a piece of trash like Barbara Jean. http://www.ew.com/article/2015/03/12/britney-spears-new-album-im-slowly-surely-working-it

HBO: Game of Thrones
So obviously HBO wants more than 7 seasons. Either they're setting up the announcement or trying to gather public opinion/support for it. http://www.ew.com/article/2015/03/11/game-thrones-end?asdf One thing is for sure: They're not going to want to let go of such a show that easily. But I hope they don't push it.

Finally listening to the tracks from Rebel Heart that have been officially released. Only done "Devil Pray" and "Ghosttown" so far and, my God, what a lovely surprise these two are! Beautiful! If the rest of the album is like this, I'll be happy.

Supergirl: Discussion Thread
I just realized who she reminds me of in that poster dragonflies posted: Hudson Leick! Which, for me, is very good. The image with the costume certainly doesn't carry the say OOMPH but maybe it's just early days and she'll get it down better. Oh! lol Great timing.

Here's a look at Supergirl's costume. Obviously, don't look if you want it to be unspoiled: I think it looks pretty good and brings to mind Henry Cavill's MOS costume. http://www.ew.com/article/2015/03/06/supergirl-debuts-new-costume-whats-different?Asdf
