  1. No. She debunked the rumor about her using a helicopter to get to work.
  2. Nene is the classic case of someone who can dish it but cannot take it. That's why she stays losing.
  3. OMG! Wasn't he hot! And I agree that they need to pay Rik Makarem whatever he wants to stay. We need that sexiness back on-screen.
  4. Yes, boo! Yes!!! That's why I was all for Magali giving Dawn the 'fever' this season. She asked for it. When Magali tried extending an olive branch, she turned the calvary against her. When Dawn tried, she expected Magali to cower and toe the line and she didn't. Dawn is on that Nene sh-t where she wants to play victim when her back is against the wall. She knew she treated Magali like crap s1 and was trying to fix her image. I've never bought it. Her true colors popped out again in the finale when she took a shot at Magali for no reason. Re-watching s1 has been a refresher and reminded me why Magali is justified in her actions.
  5. Thanks for sharing this, @soapfan770! I'm going to enjoy reading this.
  6. IMO, I'd drop all three of them at this point. This has been the second time they've done this and it nearly killed RHONY. You already have Bethenny, Dorinda, and Carole signed on. I'd bring back Jill and cast 4 new women. Bravo needs to learn to pay a lot of these women dust when it comes to contract negotiations. RHOA S8E2: Many people are saying they didn't enjoy tonight's episode but I did. I gotta start off by giving Phaedra props for not kicking Cynthia while she's down ... yet. We all know that Phaedra will bury the hatchet one sec and turn on you the next. Cynthia gets props too for being honest and open about her situation. It's refreshing. Pinto Bean's party for Duke was so awkward. He looked like he wanted to flee for the nearest exit throughout that entire scene. And the tea being spilled on him that he allegedly had a past with a trans-woman and his love for porn stars was too much. Some things should be left unsaid. Also, her assuming that 13 wks = 2 months was embarrassing. She needs to learn to just shut up b/c she exudes stupidity each chance she's onscreen. Phelony and Kandi's heart to heart was so anticlimactic. I feel like Phelony played Kandi like a fiddle to get her off her back for the time being. I am glad that Don Juan picked up on it and brought it to Kandi's attention. Sadly, Kandi is so desperate for Phelony's friendship that she didn't even pick up on it. Phelony deflected the entire exchange and Kandi didn't even take note. I am enjoying this season. It isn't as toxic as seasons 6 & 7 were. This season is giving me seasons 4 & 5 vibes where it was messy but fun messy.
  7. Diane Parrish/Bonnie Langford > all the other women. OMG. I died laughing at Gillian. She didn't know what the hell she was supposed to do but she committed. The men totally stole the show. Especially Jonny, Danny Boy, Jay, and Shane. Overall, it was cute. I enjoyed it.
  8. I wouldn't mind Stacey or Lynda joining either. But the other three ladies ... nope.
  9. But they shouldn't take it out on the RHOP women. They should direct that to Bravo.
  10. Lynda, Mary, and Cat of RHODC aren't too pleased about RHOP. They seem quite bitter. Here are some of the tweets they RT'd or personally tweeted: All 3 of them RT'd the following tweet:
  11. BIIISSSHHH! Kenya know she's wrong for that!!!
  12. Nuanced, subtle storytelling is long gone from today's daytime dramas, alas. The scenes with Jingles the Clown were often quite terrifying, and the storyline went on for an extended period. As it turned out, Zoe Cannell, Carter's sister and Julian Cannell's wife, was the one under the disguise. She was afraid that her husband Julian was falling for Andrea, and with a husband as handsome as Joel Crother's Julian, could anyone blame her for being nervous, LOL? Actress Lois Smith (of EAST OF EDEN and TRUE BLOOD fame) was mesmerizing as the deranged Zoe. This was Writer Henry Slesar at his delicious best. We were so lucky to have him pen exciting, intricate, layered mysteries on TEON, but his work on SOMERSET was also very good. I only found OLTL weak under his pen, but he was not alone at the helm of that show. Yes it is. So Joel Crothers was on Somerset too before EON? Where there any other Somerset stars that moved onto EON afterwards. And do you think that Slesar struggled at OLTL b/c it was a different beast from what he was used to?
  13. You'd never get something like that nowadays. Instead, the characters would scream from the top of their lungs to show their pain and agony. But who is Jingle the Clown? And was Robert Delaney already on Another World at this point?
  14. Bravo, make it happen! But I want her back on OC next season so she can eat Tamra's ass up.
  15. I just hope the Dallas ladies and backwood, Bible thumping women. If so, they are gonna get eaten alive by Bravo's audience.
  16. So both she and Tiffany came back to Monticello as widows? Hmm. Didn't know that.
  17. I didn't know that Slesar wrote out the Whitney family after the Jonah Lockwood story. Glad that LK went back to EON and became a stalwart character there till the end.
  18. Oh I am for all Real Housewives of Potomac! That trailer was banging! Black old money FTW!! And I thought they were branding the Dallas show originally as Ladies of Dallas? I guess going with the larger brand is better. And I think after the messy season of RHOC, which is apparently on it's last leg, the loss of RHOM & RHODC, and NJ being in limbo, it'd only make sense to add new ones to the lineup to freshen up the housewives franchise. I just wish that Andy would pay attention to RHOCheshire and RHOMelbourne more and give them more promo time b/c they could help liven up Bravo too.
  19. Ooo! Thanks for sharing! I didn't know that Lois Kibbee was on Somerset! Was this before or after EON? And funny she went from one show that focused on crime to another.
  20. Thats true. With Nene gone, the negativity was also gone and the group as a whole had more chemistry together than they had in years. It was lighthearted but not boring at all Exactly. It wasn't draining watching Honda Pilot and Phelony in a scene either. W/o their 'master' there pulling the chains, they were actually decent. That could change though.... She'll be back. Bank on it. Andy will make sure she will; however, Vicki will have to fess up and come clean about everything to make sure she has a redemption story. IMO, I feel that Vicki didn't learn the truth until she was in too deep. She had to perpetuate Brooks' lie. But that's what you do when you're in love with someone. You'll do anything for them. That's why I am not so crucial on her. B/c at the end of the day all you see is a woman who fears being alone and would do anything for love. And none of the women that are being the most critical on Vicki have a pot to p*ss in and a window to toss it out of. Meghan's vile ass stayed using Leanne for story. Tamra used her daughter for pity at the reunion. Shannon blasted her husband on a national platform while allowing her kids to be exposed to the tryst on the same platform. All of them are trash. Vicki is just the lesser of all evils.
  21. You feel that there's a missing element but most people I've come across on social media and forums have all said they didn't miss Nene and the show felt more light than it did the previous two seasons.
  22. But it's still Bravo's top show. That's all that matters.
  23. I didn't catch it. I need to go back and see it.
  24. She truly wasn't. IMO, they just should've given Marlo a peach and she would've filled the so-called void Nene left.
