  1. I don't mind when soaps usually do a modern spin on historic events in the show's canon, but I agree that the Robert pulling a 'Kim Tate' was absolutely ridiculous. It's obvious they are trying to use Robert to gain sympathy for the Whites and I (too) and not falling for it. Not seeing as they've done heinous things since they came on the show. Chrissie going around despairing Robert's character was hilarious. Especially, coming from the same woman that caused a helicopter crash almost a year ago. I think she should NEVER question anyone's character seeing as she caused the deaths of many. Lawrence in that hospital bed acting like a big ass baby was funny. I wanted Bernice to smother his miserable ass with a pillow after a few seconds of him begging. I just think this whole thing is ludicrous. A grown ass gay man begging for a his straight wife to stick by side. On the lighter note, I did enjoy Leyla and David's scenes. Their friendship is one of the few bright spots on this show. I don't mind Gabby and Jacob either; however, I wish they'd make them friends instead of ushering them into some teen romance. We all know how they typically end--in teen pregnancy, which is something I don't wanna see in the near future.
  2. Sucks how Jill Lorie Hurst never landed another job at another daytime soap. I thought she was phenomenal during GL's final year. Sucks no one tried to even scoop her up post GL.
  3. I am SO proud that Andy gave Lawrence's prehistoric ass an ultimatum tonight! I cannot wait for Robert to get a hold of that old fart. I just want someone to tell Chrissie all her love interests have more sexual chemistry with her father than they do with her. She really doesn't have chemistry with her men. Her pawing and looking over Andy fell flat. I didn't believe it for one second.

  5. I remember reading that and remember that Maureen Garrett said in an interview later saying that she wished Holly became a lesbian. Personally, I would've hated it much like I hated Olivia being turned into a lesbian. I would've accepted either of them engaging in a tryst or two with a woman but no become full-blown lesbian. Not Holly and Olivia--two man-eaters in their heydays. I'm actually glad that P&G nixed it. As a gay man, I personally hate when soaps make characters become insta-gay. I find it somewhat insulting. Especially, when these are characters we've seen live lives as heterosexual men and women, engaging in healthy (and unhealthy) heterosexual relationships.
  6. Damn. LVP went in. I adore LVP but honestly, she's lying. It's obvious she was trying to plant Kyle into the situation and Kyle prevented it from happening. Much like my beloved Kenya on ATL, as people on here like to deny it, LVP loves to stir the pot. It's part of their jobs; however, I think that both women need to sit the f-ck back in their upcoming seasons and allow the chaos to ensue without them getting involved. LVP's hands are getting too bloody when they don't need too. What is ludicrous about the whole situation is that Rinna is now carrying this situation like a dog with a bone when Kyle moved on from it and squashed it. It just shows how Rinna has nothing going on in her own world that she has to piggyback off everyone else's stuff. I see her ass getting exposed next season if she's brought back. Eileen too. The girls questioning Kyle and LVP's relationship is stupid. Have they not been paying attention to Kyle's relationship with Kim and Kathy, her own sisters? Her relationship with LVP pales in comparison as at least LVP doesn't drain her to capacity like her true siblings do. Some people have toxic relationships. If the people in the relationships like it, I love it. Like Kathryn, it's no one's business but their's. Rinna is moron as she brought up Munchausen and said she got it from her stylist. So now it was LVP who brought up to you? It's obvious that Rinna is inconsistent and no longer a reliable source. As she told Kim last season, "Own your sh-t." Looks like someone needs to take their own advice. Can't believe I am about to say this but Rinna somewhat makes me wish that TayShanna or Brandi were still on the show; they'd dig into her closet and pull some scandalous sh-t out on her to expose her and shut up her up, which is necessary at this point. Eileen calling LVP a manipulator while constantly pulling Rinna's strings does not help her in her witch hunt. It makes her a big ass hypocrite, which is what she is. She does the exact same things LVP does except no one has called her out on her crap ... yet! One point I do agree with Eileen and Rinna is that this all stems from LVP and YoLyme not liking each other. However, these women chose to get involved and exploit the elephant in the room to give them a story. No one manipulated them. They chose to get involved and now they are all knee-deep in it.
  7. Do you all think that Paul inadvertently caused the hotel explosion? I thought the scenes with Josh's death were hard to watch. Especially, when he was telling his daughter, Matilda, farewell.
  8. Do you all think that Claire's writing only worked at RH and later GH because it was more along the lines of ABC daytime soaps and not CBS soaps, which were more rooted in realism, hearth, and community? Possibly. At its best, Claire Labine's work possessed urbane qualities, sharing Agnes Nixon's penchant for topical storylines, if not her broad sense of humor. In fact, I think it says a lot that Labine's two biggest successes were on shows that were set in New York (three, if you count LOVE OF LIFE, which might have been set in NY as well, but don't quote me on that). That was just her milieu. However, to suggest the CBS soaps were more rooted in realism implies Labine's work was the opposite. If anything, the further she strayed from the simple, everyday, character-driven stuff that characterized her best years on GH and especially RH, the more she faltered as a HW. Thanks, Khan!
  9. Ugh. Don't get me started on Robert/Andy/Chrissie/Lawrence. I didn't care for Lawrence before but tonight's episode solidified my hatred for him. His daughter, I couldn't care less for. I blame her for everything. Andy annoys me but I still care for him. I don't appreciate that he was beaten up b/c Lawrence was worried that Bernice was possibly having an affair with him. If anything, he shouldn't care. He's gay! I just hope that this incident with Andy will blow up in the White family face. Plus, Bernice needs get out that family now!
  10. Well I am not surprised (if true) that Rauch was sabotaging her work at GL. Given his chaotic history in daytime, it wouldn't surprise me if he did. Do you think that she would've been able to handle the beast that is ATWT? Part of me thinks that she would've done well with the older characters. It would've been the younger crowd I would've seen her struggle with.
  11. Do you all think that Claire's writing only worked at RH and later GH because it was more along the lines of ABC daytime soaps and not CBS soaps, which were more rooted in realism, hearth, and community?
  12. No. It's two pages back. @Mr. Vixen I wanna know your opinion on this video below. Looks like Porsha is coming for Nene....
  13. I hope they don't use this as a way to bring him and Tracy together. I just feel like giving David cancer and Alicia not returning is gonna dampen any possible potential between those two. I am just over cancer stories b/c as you said, they are typically done correctly. Key players are typically left out.
  14. RHOCheshire opening:
  15. But why give him cancer? As @DRW50 said, Matt Wolfenden, though a decent actor, is not strong enough to carry something so serious. If anything, it should've remained a scare. Plus, why is another person getting struck with cancer? Doesn't Diane already have it? Too many of the same stories going on at once.
  16. I thought Aaron comparing himself to Paddy was idiotic. I just rolled my eyes when he said that crap. I do wish that they'd wrap this molestation story up now. It's gotten too far from the important issue at hand and is more about Gordon and Chas/Robert/Aaron trying to pull one over on each other. Is it just me or did Bernice seem a bit jealous of Andy/Chrissie? If so, why?! Bernice is a bad a** bitch; she can take Andy back from that sniveling twat with ease. I just don't care for Lawrence and his impending plot against Andy though. Just stupid.
  17. No, boo! Watch Cheshire. It was actually good. I am HERE for the new girls. RHOCheshire: I will miss my Magali but I foresee her returning in the future. She much too much of a catalyst for them not to bring her back in the future; however, I am now glad she took the season off b/c now everyone who was on Magali's case before and believing Dawn's victim act can now see how vile she truly is. It is obvious that she pressed by Misse b/c she's young and pretty. Dawn always felt that she was the gorgeous one of the OGs, which I beg to differ, but she cannot deny Misse's beauty. That's why she was such a lush mess at Seema's party. I actually like Seema, Stacey, and Misse b/c they aren't here for Dawn's sh-t. I am not shocked that Dawn treated Stacey like dirt in the past by not remembering her name. I think Stacey is gonna be the one that constantly clocks Dawn throughout the season. I loved when Seema paid Dawn in dust when Dawn suggested they hangout more. It was clear that Dawn wanted to add Seema to her army and Seema ain't here for it. Speaking of Seema, her husband, Sandeep, and eldest son, Neal, are sexy as f-ck. As long as she keeps the new eye candy around and continues to not be here for Dawn, Seema can stay. Misse's hubby is hot too. So is Tanya's who finally appeared on the show. Plus, it is obvious that Dawn is livid that Tanya is preggers and she isn't. She wanted to blow a gasket but knows it wouldn't've came off right if she did. I am glad that Ampika and Lauren somewhat clocked Dawn. This season seems like the downfall of Dawn and I am here for it. Even Leanne at the end of the episode seemed like she was over Dawn and her crap. I always knew once Magali was removed, those two would turn on each other. It's gonna happen. I'm calling it now. RHOMelbourne: I thought the recent episode was boring except for the Pettifleur/Jackie fight. I am so glad that people are starting to see how aggressive Jackie is. I was rooting for Pettifleur when she skull-dragged Jackie's behind and threw her crap in her face. However, Pettifleur clearly seems like she reverts back to the same hot mess next week when they are in Dubai. She is definitely solidifying her spot on the show but none of the women are gonna want anything to do with her.
  18. @Cheap21, watch Shawn Bradley's review. It was good. @Cheap21 @Cat @DaytimeFan, I have some links for you: RHOCheshire s3e1: RHOMelbourne s3e7:
  19. Thanks! I'll go look them up soon! I didn't know that they had brought on more of Steve's family besides Nick and Frank. But wasn't Shannon brought in for Brian soon after Juliette? Juliette, then he was with Barbara, then Shannon. It looks like the uploader took those down. The channel you've posted from seems to upload some episodes others uploaded first so they may put them up. If not I'll try to find mine and reupload eventually. Thanks! I've always found it odd how easy it was to find anything of ATWT post 85. Anything before is a challenge and that's all the stuff I wanna see.
  20. Louise is gross. Why couldn't they have an earnest alcoholism story (even though it is already absurd), and not have it be about Louise using Phil's ailment to suck his bank account dry? Denise's scene with Jamie (or JJ up until now) was the highlight of this episode. Diane Parish put in work and fought back tears watching her selfishly give up Jamie. I enjoyed Carmel being her support system. Carmel is enjoyable when she isn't with her own damn child and trying to drive home that she's Arthur's 'nanny.' I can see Buster and Kathy being something good. Kathy made him likable for once. My only gripe is that Kathy will be latched onto the bottom feeders known as the Carters if this was to become something more.
  21. Yeah I am looking on Twitter and saw that. Didn't Alex have that line first though on RHONY s3? I cannot wait for someone to post the episode so I can see it in full. I am still gonna miss my Magali. Taglines this year: Leanne: I've finally found my voice and I am not afraid to use it." Ampika: "I am a !@#$%^&*] cat; stroked the right way I'll purr." Tanya: "I would die for my kids, if they don't kill me first." Dawn: "I always get what I want and I want it all." (sounds just like Taylor's first page line on RHOBH) Stacey: "I might be the perfect housewife but it doesn't hurt to have a little extra help." Seema: "I don't just love fashion, I make fashion." Lauren: "Money can't buy you love. It buys you shoes, handbags, and diamonds." Misse: "I've modeled all over the world and now Cheshire is my runway." Ampika, Lauren, Stacey, and Tanya clearly have the best taglines.
  22. Thanks! I'll go look them up soon! I didn't know that they had brought on more of Steve's family besides Nick and Frank. But wasn't Shannon brought in for Brian soon after Juliette?
  23. After finishing watch the 1984 episode I post on here last night, I didn't know that Steve had a half sister on the show. How long did she last on the show?
  24. @Cheap21 I didn't care for Andy interrupting Kenya either. Plus, I hate when people get mad when someone doesn't apologize how they like it. Not everyone is gonna breakdown and sob with remorse. She said sorry which is more than many would do. With Lady Nyca, I am gonna probably watch all her other commentary too. Especially, her LHHATL commentary. I am sure it'll be good. I can't wait to see @Mr. Vixen's commentary on last night's reunion and the exchange between Nene and Porsha....
