I've heard all about it, and Matt is a hot ass mess. This season has revealed that he truly is a hot ass mess.

I guess b/c I loved Josie/Gary (even though they were a knockoff of Harley/Mallet on GL), that I liked Tim Gibbs. He wasn't bad for me. I thought the alcohol scenes when he got drunk and Josie locked his a** up (while looking for Felicia, his sponsor, who I think was humping John at the time) were good. He handled those scenes well. I just didn't care for him as Kevin on OLTL. I didn't mind RC's Lorna b/c I always took her as the more mature, refined Lorna compared to AC's rough and rigid Lorna. I do think that the one common factor that the writers did keep with both women was Lorna's insecurity, which led her to picking the wrong men. I think that AC just exuded it better. I think that RC had the ups though when it came to Lorna's sexuality.

I think John and Nadine still are married. I just know that he was supposedly used as a model for the popular Max Payne character.

Oh OK. Either way it is tragic. So much historical footage lost forever. But besides this story, I also wanted to the Elly Jo Jamison (I think that's her name) story too. From what I've read on that, it seemed like an interesting mystery too.

I saw that. Tim Gibbs is another one, who I felt should've rode AW till the wheels fell off b/c he was garbage on OLTL too. Gary Sinclair WAS his defining role.

And that's what is sad. We won't get that type of material again on daytime, but we will on primetime, which is profiting well using the daytime model. I thought AMC had their entire library? Doesn't Y&R too? That aside, EON is a show that P&G should revive as it'd flourish in today's market. Especially during the era of procedurals. This show was so ahead of its time.

Not surprised. From reading Lemay's book, P&G finally gave him free reign when they realized he was capable. If networks would seek out the Lemay, Slesar, Nixon, Bell types, they would gain a huge payoff like the used too. I hate that soaps destroyed most of their tapes in the 70s b/c that seems like the most daring era of soaps. So sad how this genre has regressed.

That's nice to hear. I just did not care for him on OLTL & GH. He did seem like a decent Phillip from the few episodes I've seen of him during his time on GL. IMO, he should've stayed on AW till the bitter end as Gabe was his defining role. The show should've did everything in their power to keep Robin Christopher as Lorna too. Those 2 were burning hot, and was one of the hot couples during that detrimental time period.

Now I'm jealous. Why couldn't P&G save their sh-t?! I also think that the political aspect of this story would be so intriguing during a time like this. I went on the EON homepage and reread the whole synopsis of the story and saw that he had delusions of grandeur like Trump does now. Even though Keith/Jonah was a homicidal maniac, I can still see attributes between the 2. Ugh! How I wanna see this story. I wanna see the entire Whitney family arc as they all stayed dying back to back until Sky came onto the scene. 70s EON seems like it was always must see TV.

While AW lost a lot of what made it special in the past, the one thing I can give the show props from maintaining throughout regime changes was the importance of friendship. Chris & Jake's friendship was one of the bright spots of the show's final years. I always loved how close they were. I think I appreciate this episode too b/c of Gabe/Lorna. God I loved those 2. I think Gabe was the one role that John Bolger had that I was interested in. I didn't care for him during his stints at OLTL or GH. He was dreadful. He & Robin Christopher has stellar chemistry though. I never cared for Bobby Reno, and he was a dud of a character. Sucks to know that this show got rid of Alice Barrett (Frankie) to make room for this dud character that didn't even last.

@DRW50 thanks for posting this! The Keith Whitney/Jonah Lockwood story has to be the #1 soap story I wish that I could see in live action. I am so glad that some audio has popped up over it. Oh I bet this story was so intriguing for those who've seen it.

I don't either. It's OK to be messy and someone causes ruckus over something light, but accusing someone of being an addict (again) is just gross. It's becoming a song and dance of Rinna's that is tacky as f-ck.

To answer your question, yes. Eileen is that damn dumb, but I'd more likely say spineless. Eileen & Rinna do their best to play up to the audience and side with those who they feel are fan faves. The past 2 seasons, they've been siding with Erika, who they feel is the most popular. However, I think once Erika took a hit on social media Tuesday, they might try to swim back in LVP's camp, but won't get in. Once you screw LVP over, you're dead in her book. Yes it is. Nene took a shot at Phaedra this past Sunday bringing up how dirty Phaedra is and how people can now see it. TamaraTattles is reporting that all the women this season will be back along with Nene and possibly Kim. All I know is that Phaedra is gonna catch heat from Nene. Porsha too.
