  1. I just posted a Twitter video (like always) b/c some of the international posters can't see vids from Bravo's actual site. I can't wait to see what @Cat @Antoyne @Gray Bunny @DaytimeFan @Mr. Vixen has to say about that trailer!
  2. @Taoboi, God heard your prayers. Damn. Just skip the finale. I'm ready for the reunion.
  3. According to Wiki, he unfortunately was. Laurence Caso, who was 2nd longest reigning was only there for 8 years. I have the same sentiments as @DRW50 that it was shameful how long he lasted. After Hogan left, he should've left with him. I think all those EMMY wins he got secured him at the show.
  4. Ramona is f-cking ruthless. That last scene with she and Luann had me rolling. However, I pity Luann for being so desperate to be married. Like Ramona said, she is gonna fall flat on her face at the end of the day. Tom is just not loyal. A blind man can see he only hitched his wagon to Luann b/c he wanted on the show. I think Bethenny was in a dark place last season, and I think we're gonna get a more light Bethenny this season. She just seems like she's in good spirits. This might be yet another good season of NYC.
  5. CZ must've not liked Babs/Gunnar pairing?
  6. That would've been touching, but you know that Goutman was not gonna do anything consisting of the generational theme of the show. I was shocked and glad that they incorporated the world spinning in some capacity in the end. I would've been pissed if they didn't. While the finale was lukewarm, I was fearful leading up that they were gonna do something horrible much like I heard rumblings/rumors of Ellen Wheeler wanting to do do stupid crap for GL's ending before being locked out the writer's room.
  7. What's wrong with Dollar Tree? I honestly didn't mind the globe at end. Again, I thought it was cute.
  8. I liked the globe turning on the desk lighting up and spinning. I always wanted some shot at the end of the the world spinning on and on thus signifying that the show and its characters would spin on and on in the fans hearts and minds. Just like I loved the shot of the gyroscope, the pics of all the infamous characters, and infamous the shot of Mac toasting to life in the AW finale, and the lighthouse being show at the end of GL. Those are images I found synonymous with those shows. I hated how AMC didn't end on ABC with the photo album closing shut. I'm one of the few that hated the finale. I wanted something poignant and cute for their show ending. Would've been so nice to have seen Erica simply thumb through the pages of the album and flashback to infamous moments in AMC's history before closing the album shut, placing it on the coffee table, and walking out leaving us taking one final look at the infamous red book.
  9. Well no one has leaked it yet.
  10. Yeah I hate how Kim didn't get to protest Katie/Chris when she's done it with all of Chris' previous mates, who were no worse than Saint Katie. I still remember it like yesterday when JPiss said in SOD that Janet was based off of her. I knew right then that Janet was gonna eat the show. Sucks b/c as you pointed out, Janet would've been a much better character had she served her original purpose--an interloper between Brad and Katie. But to answer @Scrapple's question, I would've: 1. Had Katie end a widow. She would've for once focused on her career and child instead of chasing a man (the primary issue with 90% of the women in the last decade of the show). 2. Brought Grant or Don back for an arc with Lisa. Lisa would've gotten her happy ending with someone instead of being left alone. 3. Had Noah & Luke reunite. They would've went off to Los Angeles together to pursue film and TV together. 4. Instead of Casey & Allison move out of town, Casey would've just reopened Chris Sr's law firm (Lowell, Hughes, & Colman) from years ago just to keep up tradition. 5. Had Emma sell the farm, as she wanted to pick up her writing again. She'd plan a trip around the world for inspiration. 6. Like I've said before, Carly would've went into business with Lisa and Babs. It would've been so nice to have these 3 bury the hatchet and go in business with one another as all three women were so alike. 7. Brought back Scott Bryce as Craig. He would revert back to reformed Craig and eventually reunite with Roseanna. 8. Brought back Andy. It was criminal that Andy was not mentioned or asked back for the finale. He bring back Hope in tow. Out of the final months of the show that I did like was Bob & Kim retiring and moving away (a nod to Nancy/Chris when they were written off), and Paul/Emily reuniting.
  11. No. They never air a preview before the finale. God I love you. This post was just perfection.
  12. The finale has not aired. I think Dorit talked to Kim b/c they've both been victims of her constant sh-t talking. To me, it made sense. It was messy though, but I get it. I'm over these broads taking one word (Munchausen, amnesia, pantygate) and making it the highlight of the season. I really need this show to get back to the glitz and glam of the first 2 season. I see LVP trying to steer the show back into that direction, but she's surrounded by so many basics that it can't happen. They seriously need to clean house... I got why PK got involved in the fight too. You had Erika and Dorit going at it, BUT you also had Eileen and Rinna foaming at the mouth to get in too. If I were him, I'd get involved too. LVP and Kyle were helping out but they aren't gonna fully put their necks on the line for Dorit. Kim was there too, but she restrained herself b/c she knows how dirty Rinna would get if she got involved. Rinna came for Dorit b/c 1. she thought it would gain her more fans by siding with Erika 2. like you said, she needed a story. Unfortunately for her, it backfired. People on all sides are sick of her.
  13. How Kyle reacted to LVP in that trailer should inform LVP on what's to come. Kyle is itching to turn on her. Like Affairleen and Lisa, she wants to ride the Erika train. She's been eager to jump aboard all season. I don't that PK deserves the nastiness he is getting from the women in that trailer. I'm sorry but I don't pity Erika. Never have. Never will. She chose to not wear panties. Now deal with the repercussions. I think next season is gonna be Rinna's swan song. These women are totally over her, and she can no longer use Kim as a crutch going forward. I think she's about to get the Brandi treatment come next season. And when she goes, so will Eileen.
  14. Glad I am not alone in them hooking Chris and Katie up. I'm sorry but after Katie pulled that stunt all those years ago that Chris was stalking her (when she was trying to get Molly's job at WOAK), I just find it odd that he'd end up with her. Katie should've just been left a widow, who wants to focus on her baby and career. She didn't need a happy ending. As a NUKE fan, I wanted Luke and Noah to end up happy and go off to LA together. Jack & Janet as a whole was just stupid. Given that Janet & Dusty had chemistry, the show should've just tossed her in his orbit from the start. By 2007, I was tired of Jack & Carly's breakups and reunions. I just wanted them to be put together permanently and shifted the story over to JJ, Parker, and Sage. Those 3 kids alone would've given Jack and Carly tons to do.
  15. RHOBH reunion trailer:
  16. He did for me. I truly just miss this show and the characters. I haven't watched the finale since it aired b/c it is too painful for me. The last year of ATWT was so hard for me. Helen Wagner died before the finale. That hurt my heart. My maternal grandmother, who I'd watch the show with avidly, died before the finale. I'd schedule my college classes the last few years of the show to ensure I had that hour (or 2) cut out so I could go and watch ATWT & GL with her. That final scene with Kim and Bob broke me down. When that globe turned, I had an epiphany and everything just came rushing out. That was a hard year for me.
  17. She was OK but I never found her interesting. I sure did see my bae win! I was just watching her on Smackdown snatch Alexa bald yet again!
  18. I believe it. I totally believe Trailer Sue is sleeping around. Her and Eddie have no chemistry at all. But why bring Lydia back? I've sat here and said for the longest that Bravo needed to bring back Gretchen AND Lizzie. Those 2 would've brought enough drama for the upcoming season. Damn. These folks never listen.
  19. Well based on the trailer, it looks like Monique is very capable in handling Gizelle. I don't think Gizelle is gonna run all over her. With Atlanta, folks on Twitter are saying that the reunion might be FOUR parts.
  20. @P.J., I miss CarJack too. I'd like to imagine that they are a solid couple (like Tom/Margo), and the story has shifted from them to kids. Carly, Babs, and Lisa own a solid fashion house, and Jack is still on the force at Oakdale PD giving Parker hell.
  21. RHOCheshire: Ester further solidifies that she poor, dumb Eurotrash. When she gleefully uttered that she thought that Opium (Ampika's beauty bar) was like a 'curry house,' I thought that was the most racist sh-t I've ever heard. Whatever mail order magazine they got this broad from, send her back. Leanne's breakdown was bound to happen. That's what happens when you serve as someone's lapdog for the longest and your feelings are moot. Leanne just confirmed everything I've said about Dawn the past 5 seasons--that she is manipulative, loves to play victim, and uses people to do her dirty work. Now she has that piece of trash, Misse, doing it. I cannot wait for next week when Ampika reminds Misse's basic that her services are no longer needed. Tanya is in a precarious position. I think she is gonna get burned once it is all said in done. In the pit of my stomach, she is gonna choose to follow Dawn (as always), and will live to regret it like Leanne has.
  22. So true. One thing I can give the P&G soaps is that they weren't big fans of hair models, and those that typically started that way were either booted on went on to become decent actors. Immediately, Austin Peck comes to mind when I say this. I can remember being horrified when it was announced he'd be Brad Snyder; however, he was molded into a true actor on this show thanks to having Terri Conn, Michael Park, & Maura West being his scene partners. I think this highlights the primary issue with soaps nowadays. There is no sense of community now. That void is gone and it shows. I (too) miss the days when everyone would comment on recent scandals that happened on the canvas despite it affecting them. It was true to real life. Now everyone on soaps are isolated into little factions and barely interact with characters outside of it. So you miss characters like Katie and Janet? What I miss most about this show is the Hughes clan. Despite my love for other soap families like the Winters/Barbers, the Cory and the Bauers, no soap family was as special to me like the Hughes. There was something so rich, so magical, and so powerful with this family. I feel like regardless your race or age, there was someone in this family that you could find yourself in, or someone that reminded you of someone you were related too and loved. I got that Kim & Nancy. Both of them reminded me of my late maternal grandmother, who was a huge ATWT fan. While my grandmother was stern like Kim, she also had that nurturing, forgiving side that Nancy possessed. She was career driven and strong like Kim, and was all about family unity like Nancy. With Bob, I felt that I finally had the grandfather I always wanted and didn't have. My late maternal grandfather, though I loved him, was vicious (at times) and was an alcoholic. With my paternal step-grandfather, we have no relationship as I find him to be just vile. Bob filled that void for me b/c he was everything I'd want in a grandfather. I just miss the Hughes so much...
  23. Them all too. I know they can't live forever, but in my mind, I'd like to think they can. But let's put this topic to rest b/c I feel like by us even entertaining the worst, we're somewhat speaking it to existence. People, what are your favorite ATWT moments? Fave characters you miss? Just in general what do you miss about the show overall?
  24. Me? I'd have to say Nancy Curlee as that's who I grew up on and was watching as child when I fell in love with GL. Now thanks to YouTube, I love a lot of the material from Dobson and Marland too. Pam Long isn't bad either when she doesn't focus heavily on Reva and the Lewises. You're welcome! Normally @DRW50 posts the links on here before I do, but I happened to see he didn't this time, so I went ahead and did it.
