I don't recall Brown at that time but he probably played the same character. It would be quite likely that Robert would be around to defend Danny. Bell had worked with Brown on Days and B&B,and knew he could handle the role and Brown needed work, so it worked out for all. Redecker had also played a lawyer earlier on Y&R.I think in the Chris Brooks rape trial,- Loving/The City Discussion Thread

'Cabot Huddleston'? was that a misprint or was that the original name for the character? Interesting that they chose to kill off a child.Surely, there would have been a lot more story had he lived.Maybe they didn't want Pat to be lumbered wirh a child-that thinking that once a mother,a character loses her sexuality and has to conform to certain standards. Was Brian forgotten by Pat,or referenced from time to time? Was it later that they decided Karen was with Talbot in the car that killed Brian or was that already known? Thanks for the article Carl.I would love to see synopses from that issue !!- Dynasty Discussion Thread
Unfortunately,Monte Carlo bombed in the ratings, which obviously made it harder for Joan to do other things apart from Dynasty. Her first mini series "Sins' had done well. i wish the networks would take a chance on that genre again.- Y&R: Old Articles

Yes,me too. Does anyone know about Geary's contract at that time? If he arrived in 79,would his first contract have expired in 82? Surely, after the explosion of L&L,he would have renegotiated during that time? Did he sign on for one year after his first contract expired? It seems he had some TV movies thrown into the deal at some point also.- GH: Classic Thread
Variety reported in Nov 82 that Jackie Zeman will be returning to GH at a reported more than $300,000 a year salary, making her daytime's highest paid performer. The 80's were really all about excess. That should never have happened,as I'm sure several other performers took note and salaries started rocketing, thus cutting into profits and undermining what soaps were all about (to the networks,at least)-cash cows.- Y&R: Old Articles
Chris and Snapper's Wedding In this episode, Chris Brooks and Snapper Foster are married. The program begins at the Brooks home as the family prepares for the wedding. Chris's mother and sisters, who are her bridesmaids, gather around to show their support and to follow the wedding traditions. Chris also takes this time to individually thank and bid goodbye to each member of her family. At the Foster home, Mrs. Foster takes Greg aside and commends him for his participation in the wedding, despite the fact that he is also in love with Chris. She also speaks to Snapper on the subject of love and reminisces about her own beloved husband. The wedding itself is flawless, as Chris and Snapper blend the traditional with some special touches of their own. Meanwhile, Babby and Peter try to persuade Ellen to leave Lois's home and return to her adoptive parents. They threaten to take the case to court, but Ellen knows a secret about Mr. Dennis that Babby and Peter do not want publicized.
