  1. Veronica looked crazy tonight.
  2. That I did not see coming. Another killer kid on a soap this week, but unlike the one on Days, this kid did it on purpose.
  3. Landon set Veronica up, which is why he didn't intervene with the questions. He instructed that reporter to ask Veronica questions.
  4. That was the best episode of the season, so much going on.
  5. Veronica is unhinged. David should have gone all the way with Maggie, it would have served Veronica right. Jeffrey kissing Benny was so funny. Hanna is trying to be proper, but seems to want to get her groove on. Wyatt and Celine had an interesting scene. I like how he called her out about being so angry over finding out about Jim and Candace. Candace is really sticking it to Jim and she did a good job reading Veronica.
  6. I don't know why you all keep arguing with ol' Alpha Beta. He's so old and late and tired.
  7. It wasn't revealed who got shot.
  8. All that matters to her is that she got paid for her work and people are always going to side with who helped line their pockets.
  9. If any of you SON members have run across this video, this is me cover the 80s theme song. lol.
  10. He's got real issues. It always seemed like he did a little too much in those scenes, beyond what was necessary. Watching with my mom, she always pointed out how some of the playfulness didn't all look like acting and with these allegations coming out, I'm inclined to believe that he was taking advantage of the situation. With that said, Phylicia Rashad did go on to play with him in another sitcom, so he may not have been abused, but I certainly think he was getting his own perverted kicks in during those scenes.
  11. There is a big difference between mainstream Republican and a moderate Republican, Scalise is mainstream, but definitely not moderate since he's very conservative. Ted Cruz is more fringe and has no filter. Regardless, on most issues, there isn't a whole lot of variance between the two. And it would be wise to open a history book. The second klan went after Catholics, the third klan (which is the current one) is more anti-Semitic and anti-Muslim, with Catholics being an almost non-existent target these days.
  12. Moderate how? His district is like 70%+ Republican, he can't be that moderate to get elected there. He scored a low 21% on Civil Rights, which well below where supposedly moderate Republicans score. I really don't care who replaces him, I'm not a Republican, so whoever is in their leadership is of no concern to me.
  13. 2002 is not a long time ago, not by any stretch. And even in death, Byrd's civil rights record is still better than Scalise's and always will be, despite voting against the Civil Rights Act, his later voters were much more liberal. Records matter. And if you think giving a speech to pander for voters is something minor, you are incredibly wrong.
  14. Number one, his civil rights record was better than most Republicans post civil rights movement and number two, something that happened in the 1940s is a lot different than something that happened in 2002. And considering that Byrd is dead, he can't resign from anything.
  15. 082b8ba745e7a929b583accb098304ac " data-width="466"> Post by The Haves and the Have Nots. Looks packed with drama.
  16. Of course there will still be some people that think that he didn't do anything at all, but I think this will reduce that number significantly.
  17. Don't feed varmints, they'll only come back for more.
  18. Jill Scott adds her opinion and it's clearly dismissive of rape http://www.theroot.com/blogs/the_grapevine/2014/12/jill_scott_says_the_media_is_trying_to_destroy_bill_cosby_s_legacy.html
  19. At this point he should just find a really high bridge and jump, too much has come out.
  20. Faizon Love wants attention, that's all there is to that.
  21. I cannot seem to find anything about it online, but years ago when "Cosby" was on CBS, I remember T'Keyah Crystal Keymah making some accusations against him. I could be mistaken, but it seems like I heard something about that at one time.
  22. This is my opinion on the whole situation. I've never been a huge Cosby fan, I loved the Cosby Show, but I really liked Phylicia Rashad and the supporting cast more than I ever liked Bill Cosby. Supposedly, he stole the idea for the show from another writer, which is a claim that I believe, because his creations for television prior to the Cosby Show were failures, but that's another story. With that being said, his behavior is totally unsurprising, considering the era his headlining days was in. I have a friend that worked in the industry and she said if she had spoken up back then about some of the behavior from men in the industry, she would have been blacklisted. I've heard rumors that Ronald Reagan committed rape, of course his era was well before Cosby's, but it demonstrates that point that there has always been deplorable behavior in the industry among respected names. I do think that Bill Cosby was right about some of the comments he's made about culture and that he said what needed to be said, but that doesn't excuse him being a predator, those comments really have nothing to do with his predatory behavior and are completely separate. What he has built up is this whole "Magical Negro" persona which he and a lot of others believe make him untouchable, which is why he has so many defenders. Most of the women accusing him of assault are white, which indicates a patterns. Perhaps he didn't bother Stacy Dash because she wasn't his type. Predators do have types.
  23. I think the other women are telling the truth, but from hearing Janice Dickinson's interview, I think she's lying. Something about the way she spoke seemed dishonest and she didn't seem to be disturbed at all by recounting the details.
  24. Perry is likely running for President again. With the Republican field fractured, he's got a chance to slip through the primary on a plurality. That said, he'd lose the general election by double digits.
  25. Looks like Adrian Bellani will be playing Eva Tamargo's son again, I'm sure that the intern in awe of Jim will turn out to be his child with Celine. And Candace's son is dead, which wasn't so much of a surprise, but next week will still be interesting. The District Attorney is sloppy, that's an aspect of the writing that I think is weak. Hanna hasn't given a statement yet, but the District Attorney already has a warrant for Wyatt's arrest, and this is after Wyatt was "cleared" of the hit and run.
