  1. Establishment Republicans will continue to back him, because all that matters to them is the court. They want to preserve the conservative majority at any cost and gambling with Trump is their only chance to do that. Clinton will undoubtedly appoint younger and liberal justices to any vacancies come up, which will completely shake up the court. That terrifies Republicans.

  2. I don't think Trump has dementia, he's merely a narcissist with delusions of grandeur. He has been behaving like this for years, it's just that the presidential campaign has allowed it be put on full display. Being a narcissist with delusions is a mental health issue, but at the same time Trump doesn't appear to be mentally incapacitated. He's mentally disturbed, but he still knows what he is doing.

  3. Considering that the DNC and her campaign have been hacked not to mention numerous government agencies, I consider Hillary the smart one in this. She should be having servers set up for half these folks. Trump's inviting hackers to attack this country actually pushed cybersecurity professionals to rally around her.

That has been something that I thought of too. With so much hacking going on, a private server seems to be quite smart, because hackers would be less likely to find it. The .gov servers are exactly where they would look first.

  4. Again, the whole issue of classification is a matter of opinion, because there are things that were retroactively classified and it appears that is what the media was talking about. Clinton has always maintained that she never sent any classified emails. The lack of an indictment supports that, but again, it's all a matter of opinion, so I'll leave it at that.

  5. What lies has Hillary Clinton told? I'm still trying to figure that out. These phantom tales of her lying are backed up by nothing.

Have you been watching the news? Don Lemon (and he's certainly not biased against her) just had clips of Hillary speaking and then the FBI coming right in and contradicting her line for line. She lied about not having classified emails on her server. She also lied about the FBI backing her up on not having classified emails on her server. That's just this week. The Clinton's both have a very long history of lying. I'm not going to pretend the emperor is wearing clothes just because I agree with them politically.

I have......I also watched it when 22 million emails were deleted during the Bush Admin. and not one word was reported about that.

Right. There is a big double standard here when it comes to what the media is willing to jump on and what it isn't. The media has never been as liberal as conservatives have complained that it is.

The FBI Director did a lot of editorializing in his initial statement, but doubled back and said different things when he was interviewed by the committee in the House. There were a number of emails that were classified after the fact, which is not the same as them being classified before. Everyone has their own opinion about the server, so everyone has their own version of what is true. The fact that she was not indicted said everything that needed to be said. There is a whole lot media push to make her as bad as Trump, because they want ratings. Honestly, the whole thing was put to rest by no indictment. The Director of the FBI is a Republican and you know if he couldn't trump up charges, there really was nothing there.

  7. Trump is pretty much capable of anything, so who knows what insane stunt he'll pull if he loses.

As for that tweet, there are some real crazies in Riverside County, particularly the southeast part. It's not surprising that someone would tweet that sick picture.

  8. Trump is too arrogant to quit. He is going to declare himself a winner no matter what the election outcome is, because he is already setting a narrative about phony polling and rigged election. On election night he'll come out on stage and rant about how Hillary Clinton stole then election.

  9. Arizona has a lot of Mormons and they do not like Trump, plus it's also full of college educated whites who aren't big on Trump either. And last, but not least, you have Hispanics and they are obviously anti-Trump. Roll it all together and you have a recipe for Trump to lose Arizona.

  10. Trump voters include a lot of people who are convinced that minorities are stealing jobs and opportunities from them. While things are not completely equal, minorities can better compete for jobs than ever before and the playing field is more level. Trump is out there essentially saying that he will bring back the old hierarchy where things were race based, as opposed to qualification based. It's similar to apartheid in South Africa; even if you were white and had little or no qualifications, there would be some employment available regardless. When apartheid fell, that changed, because simply being white was no longer an advantage.

  11. Everything that convention needed to do, it did and Clinton's speech was exactly what it needed to be. Her style of being nuanced and technical is an advantage against Trump, because he is quite unstable. Someone had on a sane and qualified t-shirt at the convention, which was called boring, but that really is going to the path to winning against Trump.

In addition, Hillary really cares about people and that comes through in her speaking and will be another advantage for her.

  12. Erika Alexander!!!

When they said the name I was assuming it was someone else, but I was pleasantly surprised that it was Maxine Shaw. She was much more articulate than Scott Baio, Antonio Sabato Jr. or Kimberlin Brown at the RNC. If an actor speaks, they should sound like Erika Alexander, which was intelligent.

  13. The thing to remember is that he is performing poorly with college educated white voters, which is the demographic that he can't afford to lose. To win without them he'd need more than 70% of the non-college educated white vote, plus a better amount of Black and Hispanics than Romney got.

  14. After the platform was worked out and Sanders endorsed in New Hampshire, there was no doubt he would endorse. The dynamics with Cruz and Trump would quite different. Clinton never attacked Sanders' family like Trump attacked Cruz's, so it was always likely that they would eventually pull together by the time the convention rolled around. With that said, the median Sanders supporter is not as hardcore as the hecklers. Most of them are concerned about defeating Trump now.

  15. Trump's unstable ranting worked in the Republican debates, but it won't work against Hillary Clinton. One thing that cannot be denied is that Clinton is a strong debater and got stronger from 2008. Trump will get destroyed.

  16. Agreed. The media needs a close race in order to keep ratings up, which are already not great to begin with.

Meanwhile, male escorts cleaned up during the convention. Lots of closeted Republicans were patronizing them.

    http://nypost.com/2016/07/21/male-escorts-are-making-crazy-money-at-the-rnc/

It’s been a great week for gay escorts in Cleveland.

Male prostitutes contacted by The Post said business is booming and Republican National Convention attendees — most of them married — are clamoring for their services.

“Business has been way better. I’ve seen 10 clients so far,” one male escort said.

  17. There were people on television who said that they actually saw emails of Clinton responding to Nigerian scammers and emails of her asking Putin for shirtless pictures, even though no such emails exist. She actually has the cleanest record when it comes to being fact checked, but she has still received more negative coverage than Trump.

  18. Trump has polled only 12-15% of Hispanics in the latest poll done by pollsters who poll the Hispanic vote. If he gets only that much Nevada and Colorado are off the table, with Florida probably also being out of contention. He also has issues with college educated white voters, particularly women. I think Clinton wins the same as Obama did, while adding North Carolina.

  19. Trump personally attacked Cruz's family, so Cruz pretty much paid him back for it. Cruz is already disliked within party circles, which made his future prospects for the presidency dim anyway, so he had zero to lose by doing this. Trump was visibly angry afterwards, he was even angry through most of his own son's speech.
