  1. Federal judge: Trump has violated the Constitution (NO! REALLY?!) by blocking people on Twitter He has so long to unblock - or Twitter can.
  2. And it was a year ago today that a sinkhole developed near Mar-A-Loco. Tell me nature isn't trying to right a wrong here.
  3. Mother Nature has had enough! A sinkhole has developed near The White House and continues to grow!
  4. If only that explosion was literal...
  5. Thank you, Mr. Acevedo. This being Texas, he'll probably get a LOT of pushback, but I'm glad he spoke up.
  6. New World Entertainment lasted until 1992; it was rebranded as New World Communications per Wiki but ultimately folded in 1997.
  7. Make Russia Great Again! Oh, wait. But how ironic this likely hurts the very Trumpian base that supports this jackhole. Oh, well. Reap what you sow.
  8. True. As much as I loved the show, by the time it ended, it was almost a mercy killing. As an aside, I'll forever loathe the Walker family. Every last one. (Even BJ, who I know some did like with Warren!) Heck, I'm still sort of bitter that Cassie's shenanigans were never exposed and she never got any comeuppance, and that the Dobsons suddenly wanted folks to feel badly for her. Not me. When she lost Mason and/or Warren and was miserable, I was tickled pink.
  9. The Dobsons really should have NEVER gotten rid of Carrington Garland. She could act, she had chemistry with the actors playing her family and every man they threw her at, and she was liked by the audience. Her Kelly was heavily featured, but considering Marcy Walker's exit, I think that could have benefited the show and filled the hole that Eden's loss left. Eileen Davidson is fine and all, but she wasn't Kelly. And the Dobson's rationale of wanting a big name didn't wash, since they claimed Kelly should be more mature/older after what she went through. Considering RW's Kelly's age never jived with all that occurred, why start now?
  10. They already ARE trying. That's the tragic part.
  11. That was fast. Probably a good thing, where all the ongoing investigations are concerned: Schneiderman OUT as New York Attorney General.
  12. That does cheer me up considerably! Thanks. :-) (Signed, a New Yorker!)
  13. Well, color me disappointed. Deeply. If he does step down (as he should if this is true), I hope Schneiderman's successor will keep the screws to Trump. New York Attorney General Eric T. Schneiderman accused of sexual harassment.
  14. I met Laurence Lau at some soap event with my mom when I was around 11 or 12. This was during the height of Greg and Jenny, more towards their end. (LOVED THEM!) He was even cuter up close.
  15. That was a strange little movie. My cousin loved it. I remember Fred "Herman Munster" Gwynne was in it as well as Mindy Cohn of The Facts of Life, too.
  16. In the "not soap" files for John Shearin, he had a heavily-recurring role on Hunter from Seasons 2 through the end of Season 4 as Lieutenant Ambrose Finn, and Finn got a great, albeit sad, swan song. In real life, Shearin died not long ago, I recall reading. Last year or the year before. Good actor.
  17. Funny, I recognized Lois Smith right away. But not from soaps. She also played the manic-depressive mother of Stephen Colbert's character in a Law & Order: Criminal Intent episode from its 3rd season, called "The Saint". (And Colbert didn't do half bad in a dramatic role, just saying!) I think almost every New York-based actor has appeared on that franchise. Or Blue Bloods in the current TV climate, etc.
  18. Speaking of the Trump Tower fire, I read it became a 4-alarm blaze and one person is now dead. There were no sprinklers. While Trump thanked the FDNY and said how "well built" the place was, not one word for the dead man...
  19. Even the forces of nature in NYC want to wipe out traces of Trump.
  20. (Regarding Trump derailing the ISIS fight...) Elect a clown, don't be surprised when a circus ensues.
  21. Hoo, doggy! Get a load of THIS: Just Christian evangelicals showing off their values for Roy Moore! Orange jumpsuits for everyone! Those Southern gentlemen are so Godly and moral.
  22. Well, you know. Consider the source and remember how intellectually...er, challenged...he is.
  23. Probably because, per this article, Dems got A LOT out of this. So Donnie is probably having his usual tantrum. Funny how the GOP owns everything, yet the Dems still manage to hose them. :-)
  24. Wow. I never knew Drake was in contention for the original MacGyver! Cool.
  25. Nice "home-style" commercial. Too bad Stove Top is nasty, though. :-P Give me the real deal.
