Adam at the end of this clip (4:20) is so delightfully over the top yet scary. I love him so much.

Also Ruth Warwick truly can't go a scene without looking at the camera or her cue cards.

    Donna was a whore.

Christian Slater was also in this episode's credits.

Doesn't sound like Mark is really involved much beyond letting them attach his name to it. And I'm glad about that.

Based on reports, it sounds like Andrew Stearn is the driving force behind this revival. I suspect getting Kelly and Mark involved is part of the strategy to get visibility on the project and to get a series pick-up.

When did the show first establish Pine Valley was in Pennsylvania? Because I was watching an episode from 83 where Tad is trying to set Jenny up with a friend of his after her breakup with Greg and Tad says his friend just moved there from Pennsylvania.

Interesting.  Originally, Agnes meant for Pine Valley, USA to be representative of every town in America, even though in her bible she did model it after the mainline of the Philadelphia Main Line.  My first recollection of the show verbally mentioning Pine Valley as a town in Pennsylvania was in the early 90s.

During the Joe Martin anniversary ep on AMC several characters were gathered at the hospital when the elevator door opened and Phoebe (Ruth Warrick) was wheeled out. Erica went up to Phoebe to welcome here and Ruth smiled, obviously unable to speak or not well enough to deliver dialogue.

Wonderful to see her again but probably a shock to long term viewers who remembered feisty Phoebe in her heyday.

Not so much awkward as sad/poignant.

I remember this moment. It was interesting also considering that Mona and Phoebe were enemies.  They eventually buried the hatchet.

Her best ones, IMO, were "The Bride in Black" (a rare opportunity to see SL in a story penned by Claire Labine), "Lady Mobster" and "Mafia Princess."  The storytelling in all three was very strong.

"The Woman Who Sinned" was...okay; good, in a campy sort of way.  Same goes for "French Silk."  "Double Edge," however, was soooooo lethargic.

Truly, what makes her TV movies so special is the fact that she can display chemistry with so many men: not just all the men she was paired with on AMC, but also David Soul, Roscoe Born, Lee Horsley, Robert Urich, etc.  In fact, I still get chills when I think about when she co-hosted the Daytime Emmys with Drake Hogestyn (John, DAYS).  It's insane those two have never worked together anywhere else.

The Bride in Black was probably her biggest departure from her typical roles.  It was great to see her play such a different character.  I liked her in Seduced and Betrayed and rooted for her over that mousey "Andrea Zuckerman."  LOL.

Full unedited version of the 1990-1994 All My Children closing theme by Billy Barber, includes a segment not heard on the air

Thanks for sharing.  Brings back fond memories.  I think the show actually played this unedited version during one of the end-of-year episodes where they rolled the full show credits (which included all crew members and backstage staff).

Keep in mind that if this does come to fruition (and it’s only “in development” now), it will focus on new characters. Some of the announcements mention a “sprinkling” of appearances by some original cast members. These will be nothing more than cameos. ABC isn’t going to build this show around a bunch of 50 or 60 year olds. They’re also going to likely ignore a lot of continuity in order to service a new story and make the show accessible to more desirable (i.e. younger) viewers.

Sorry to be a wet blanket but those who view this as an AMC revival are going to be disappointed.

Wet blanket!  But yes, you are correct.  These vets and their characters can’t keep going on in perpetuity, especially in a sequel format (maybe in a reboot).  We have to pray the stories are good because that is key to getting the show picked up and for it to succeed in primetime.  Finally, Susan Lucci needs Special Guest Star billing a la Heather Locklear.

One time Oprah quipped, "Y'all think y'all Erica Kane with all these men..."

I did a play called Jefferson's Garden which dealt with this subject. Sordid stuff. Sally was a CHILD, early teens while Jefferson was in his forties.
