  1. Yeah, still not feeling the hair color...or the facial expressions...or the wardrobe...
  2. Wasn't Eddie Albert sick by then, though? Or perhaps his Alzheimer's was diagnosed later?
  3. I can! That's what makes it so damn funny! LOL!
  4. Cesar Romero?
  5. Since when was THAT show run by anyone who was into girls?
  6. I don't even want to know what's going on behind that couch.
  7. Neither do I. Although I'm satisfied with how it all turned out, I do think all that time on "Project Orifice" was better served elsewhere.
  8. Am I wrong to think Michael Storm made a more handsome Dr. Larry?
  9. ELR can kiss my ass. Seriously.
  10. You know, I never got that "vibe" off Benjamin Hendrickson? I mean, some don't marry because, yes, they're in the closet; and others don't, because, well, they're just not "relationship material." But who knows? Perhaps Benji was the biggest belle at the ball. *shrugs*
  11. If you ask me, Benjamin Hendrickson was a far better actor than many of his peers at Juilliard.
  12. I always had the impression that Brooke neither reported the rape nor told anyone about the subsequent abortion. Or maybe it was just Phoebe who was kept in the dark, since Ruth Warrick says, in her autobiography, how it all happened while she was on vacation and her character was away from town.
  13. I'm sure OLTL's writers at that time named it the Lord-Manning plant as a nod to history, since it had been established long ago how Viki and Irene were old college friends. However, according to her interview with Brandon's Buzz, Susan Bedsow Horgan, who wrote the breakdown for the episode that introduced Todd (or "Rapist #3," as he was originally referred to), named him Todd Manning completely unaware of the history. It's only afterward, when the show realized they wanted to keep Roger Howarth, that they decided to tie it all back to Irene.
  14. I'm sure Timothy Adams is still posing for romance novel covers, all sold at a bookstore near you.
  15. That reminds me of when JER or Liza deCazotte told SOD that PASSIONS would be taking an entire summer to cover just one day in Harmony. Kinda makes a three-week-long masquerade ball seems manageable by comparison, doesn't it, lol? Oh, God. Badderly. The absolute nadir of late-period, post-Eterna Paul Rauch. I think that was the story that convinced ABC that changes needed to be made and fast.
  16. Not because of the gay porn thing, either, but because Frank Sinatra happens to be her favorite singer.
  17. IIRC, RYAN'S HOPE's bible was about as intricate, going back as far as 150 years into the family's history.
  18. I would have loved -- LOVED -- to have seen Delila come back and be a threat to Bo and Nora's reunion.
  19. It's wonderful to see Shelly Burch still looking wonderful after all these years. I always thought she was stunning as Delila. Thanks, Dale.
  20. Same. Move over, Mary, and let this girl have a "go" with Dr. Jeff?
  21. Ah, '80's DAYS. Where anything -- and I do mean anything -- was possible.
  22. Y'all don't know: Marlena's headdress actually doubled as a wireless receiver, picking up intel about Stefano DiMera's nefarious business practices in and around Salem.
  23. That might be due to where the show was being taped at that point in time. IIRC, ATWT once was taped at EDGE OF NIGHT's former studio inside the now-demolished Monroe Theater. ATWT also was taped where the NYC FOX affiliate is today.
