  1. I'm gonna try to digitize and upload at least one of the Cortland Masquerade parties (where he comes and makes flapper Brooke jealous, in a Hawaiian outfit).
  2. OLTL was the one I was most excited to see too--which may sound odd as I was more of an AMC fan particularly in '97 when I felt OLTL suddenly had become so awful--but I had seen AMC's 25th anniversary clip week and the 20th special, etc--but nothing major for OLTL... And yeah I remember GH being largely pretty bad--Luke and Laura heavy, etc, though the Tracy QUartermain ep was classic (and fun for me as I had just become a huge fan thanks to The City.
  3. Mark bi would def have worked for me. Remember his one episode role on OLTL a few years back? And just saw the full pic or I assume the full, it could go lower What was that for, Playgirl?
  4. Yes he's def one of those people who sometimes I think looks pretty awful and other times the opposite... Nick
  5. And that wasn't even a FULL episode I don't think--I *think* that episode aired after the switch to 45 min episodes in 76, no? (But can't remember the full dates)--of course even the Daytime to Remember episodes that were shown in two parts had minor edits (which I realized when I compared the AMC "Tom finds Erica's birth control pills" DTR episodes with the one shown on the I Love Lucci marathon and a few scenes were missing from other stories--and oddly the DTR episode had bad sound which the SoapNet Lucci didn't--yes I watched those tapes WAY too much). And of course poor OLTL was largely stuck with episodes cut by a full half cuz they only got two weeks as opposed to AMC's three and GH's four, but I remember clearly that when DTR was announced OLTL wasn't even going to get episodes... (So yes, OLTL has been treated unfairly by ABC )
  6. Erica pulls it off best. I *love* Fra but sometimes she did give readings like that--I can hear it in my head now (but I mean the woman must have been a bit tired of saying "Good Heavens--and Oh Erica") Paul Raven thanks--and Shadows great pic--while watching those 1980 Cortland Masquerade episodes I realized how handsome Mark was. I wonder if I can track down his coke intervention--and if he would come back for the finale...
  7. Of course--I liked Del back in the day, think I blocked the character out after the recast....
  8. What is going on in that poodle pic?? And aside from Maria and Kendall who are those people? Richard Fields still freaks me out--I wish that was online too... I wonder what ep 41 was?
  9. Are you using Destiny on OLTL's mean nickname on purpose?
  10. And I think this show may have made me realize I'm dyslexic--I've had a bad habit of not only spelling it but calling it outloud, Game of Thorns for some reason (in fact I think for the first few weeks I read about it being made I thought it was called Game of Thorns).
  11. LOL he is the hotter of the two, and by the end I caught on but...
  12. LOL! Oops. But if there was one I'd so track it down.
  13. Right and then didn't they team up to get back at Dimitri? And I think that'swhen Edmund said she should deserve an Oscar for her acting and she replied she'd settle for an Emmy...
  14. I think she jumped--but maybe I just thought that. and of course I remember--I loved every second of that story (And Edmund trapped Erica in a tomb too I think which is where they put one of the Emmy injokes).
  15. Enjoyed it too. I admit I did have a problem I expected which was trying to keep track and learn names, etc--finally I realized that as I keep watching I'm sure I'll start to learn them without thinking so hard (however it didn't help that I found both the actors playing the bastard brother and the main older brother to look really similar but perhaps that was on purpose). Some rushed stuff, but a lot to stuff into one episode and largely paced well--and absolutely gorgeous look and score.
  16. Considering we won't even see his brother or sister Jeff and Tara, would he come back even for a gag?
  17. They did the burried alive story which I think (being a complete non watcher) was seen as the start of the first JER era really. (and of course which McTavish kinda ripped off to delight fans during the Madden storyline... )
  18. That/'s my fave opening too though I know I'm in the sharp minority on here... lol That Marco clip with Ruby says 1989--was he still on the show then or was it just a brief return? ANd wasn't he Jagger's boxing manager on GH early on in the Labine run? I wonder if they were fans...
  19. Pairing her with Charlie Brent didn't help... I admit I pretty much hated her the second time around, their cute online dating story (was that a daytime first?) etc--and was surprised how adorable and charming I found her when I saw 80s clips.
  20. And of course it led to the introduction of the Merricks and that story. I know many--or at least some--long time fans do see the Behr era as the start of the fall, but I just can't. That's when I got hooked (with the Janet in a well story), the show was nearly always second in the ratings and it had a lot of classic stuff. I wonder if they had to push hard for the story at all, in some ways it was like James Reilly was inspired by it to do similar stories but even more campy and even more long...
  21. I admit, one reason I have trouble taking her seriously is she looks EXACTLY like a friend of mine when he perfroms as a drag queen (somethign that I think annoys him now as when he started ten years back or so, no one in Canada, anyway, really had any idea who Wendy was).
  22. I got the impression people who liked Ask Wendy like it just for that reason. My sister and I watched her show last Summer (it has since been moved to some time I'm never home) and that was always the highlight cuz it was, yes, SUCH crap advice. I really think she's kinda a mean spirited lady. But, I admit, can be entertaining...
  23. It's great after all these years to be able to put faces to names. How random that the mayor gave soap stars a party though...
  24. Yes--and her dancing used to be one area I think she was genuinely very strong in. This video comparison says it all: http://www.popeater.com/2011/04/11/britney-spears-dancing/?ncid=webmail
