Just finished today's episode. Complete garbage.

I agree -- I don't see him in that role AT ALL.

Zach Tinker has a role on Fire Country, which isn’t a Dick Wolf series. Ratings are good and it has been renewed, and ZT’s role looks like one with more story to tell, although he didn’t appear in the last episode.

I see no problem with Bill Hayes playing the devil. Jesus, just lighten up. My guess is that Hayes got a kick out of doing it. And no, it’s not beneath him.

Agree about the looser scripts. I don't see any of that either. I also agree -- wholeheartedly -- about the writing. It's great that we're getting Bope back, and I know that's costing some $$$, but it's not enough. There's so much "dumb stuff" that it's breathtaking. I can live with the Heaven scenes, but only in a limited way. What we're getting is bonkers and annoying, and I don't trust any executive with telling Ron to shut that stuff down.

Exactly. It's ludicrous and laughable that the courts would allow any of this. My favorite ludicrous part was when the judge quickly excused herself because she had something else to do. LMAOOOOO

The closer we get to "The shows with all that Peacock money" the worse DAYS gets. So much mess. And can anyone tell me when that Peacock money kicks in? Because I'm not seeing it. P.S. Lucas looks ATROCIOUS with that mustache.

Of course, Taylor Sheridan and Paramount will say it's not canceled, but is being "reimagined," or some such bull. Yellowstone was good for 3 seasons, then turned to garbage. Season 5 has been a complete bust, in my opinion, and I'm now hate watching. Sheridan has about a dozen shows airing or in development, and that's obviously affected the writing on Yellowstone. I'd actually be happy if it ended after part 2 of the season airs this summer.

Taylor Swift? I get that. She's a huge star worth billions. Brook Lynn is not. As a Quartermaine, she should be able to take down that scumbucket in about 10 minutes. I never said these issues don't happen in real life. My point is that as played on GH, it's a joke. There's nothing realistic about any of it, including the guy grabbing her leg in a public place (apparently the only public place where Brook Lynn's catalog gets played).

I get your point. I just don't think Rowell helps herself at all with these stories. Yes, she works regularly, but I think she would have had an even better career if she'd handled what happened to her differently. A scorched earth policy is never good for an acting career, no matter how in the right the actor is. VR is 63. I'd love to have her back on YR in a heartbeat, but does anyone see that happening? Even after her brief return to the show, she's STILL bringing up old slights and offenses. No studio wants to deal with that on a daily basis, and we've seen no indication Rowell is willing to put her grievances off to the side.

OK, but is this a new Victoria Rowell interview? I hope it's old, because it's past time for her to put away these stories. She's been gone from YR for 15 years except for those few Neil episodes, and we've heard the MTS wig story 1000 times. And no, I'm not sticking up for Scott or saying VR is wrong. I just think telling these same victim stories over and over and over is tired.

The best part of those SINN scenes was seeing Steffy's hand on Finn's ass.

I love Laura, but I don't care about her relationship at all at this point, so she can just stay with Kevin. Laura having an affair sounds forced to me. Besides, there's no reason Laura can't have story while she's in a solid marriage. Re: Britt, add me to the list of those who are fed up with the long mourning cycle. Geez, just enough already.

I said the same thing about the crying at the end of last month, but I doubt many people saw it when this new thread opened. Katie sobs and wails with Bill and Sheila, then gets tough and angry with Steffy and Taylor. It's tired already. The sobbing is just another "Here's my Emmy reel" and it's become a cliche. Katie IS a drip, and I would not want her back as Victoria on YR.

Sometimes I miss Heather Tom when she's gone for long stretches -- and then she shows up and we get this mess, and I realize I don't miss her at all. And good thing BOLD has all those foreboding music cues to tell us how dangerous Sheila is when they do a close up on her face.

While I agree that YR misused and mistreated Mishael Morgan to the max, I don't think it's a big deal that she's in this 50th photo. I doubt very much that they forced her to be there for the photo shoot. She could have declined. It's not like they'd sue her for not showing up. MM is still a part of YR's history, and years from now, it'll be a good thing that she was in this photo.

I agree. You notice how they use music to TRY talking us into fear of Sheila and mystery about Bill? It's all so in-your-face and absurd. And no, I don't believe there's any love between Sheila and either of these guys. At least Bill is under some kind of spell. With Deacon, there's NO reason to believe he's fallen for her.

Exactly. It's beyond overkill at this point. I hate Stephanie's self-righteousness about everything. And speaking of self-righteous, so is Sarah. You mean she never teamed up with Xander in ways that were wrong and that hurt other people? These guys -- Alex, Chad, Xander -- all are problematic LOL...but they're more real and less nauseating than these women.

The "Deacon and His Pizzas" discussions have already worn out their welcome. And Katie can miss me with her high-and-mighty attitude. She visits Bill -- twice -- and cries both times. She SOBS. Then she visits Steffy and Taylor and all of a sudden is Ms. Angry with a Backbone. She couldn't show Bill some of that fire??? Instead, with Bill we get HT's Emmy reel -- filled with tears. Over it.

Sean Dominic (Nate) is very good looking, but I’ll be honest — he isn’t much of an actor. I don’t think he adds an ounce of gravitas to his role as a business executive. Maybe he’ll do better if he becomes Victoria’s boy toy, but for now, he’s not cutting it.

B&B January 2023 Discussion Thread
HT is getting nothing, but let's face it -- the writing for her is awful. She's now back to beg $Bill to stop seeing Sheila? With the same reasons she gave him during her wailing performance the other day? I'd rather watch Douglas play with apps on his phone.
