  1. I actually liked the shirt Thomas wore.
  2. This entire disccussion about Ned/Eddie Maine is proof of how poorly written the entire story is. And does ANYONE care if Scout doesn't see Drew???
  3. I just joined their Rewards program, but nothing there mentions Peacock subscriptions. The on;y email I've received said they're offering another 2 free years to Comcast subscribers enrolled in a more expensive plan. I'm already paying $228. monthly for their Triple Play -- with no premium channels -- so I'm not doing that.
  4. When I see Julie in a scene with a number of Black people, I always expect her to say something wildly inappropriate or even flat out racist. I’m sorry, but I just can’t accept her as this tolerant grandmotherly type.
  5. Agreed. Love it that Forrester and Spencer have private jets that are never available when someone needs to get somewhere. Those Liam "I need a ticket" scenes were all filler. And forgive me for not siding with all these "Look at the GORGEOUS remotes B&B does!!! How do they afford it when no one else can???" It looks like a National Geographic video montage to me -- taken by any decent photographer aiming his camera at a mountain or a hotel. I'm supposed to get excited about this??? And then they put a dozen characters in a scene and blocking is "Put them all in a row and give everyone one line." Jesus.
  6. GH has done a great job of making Portia unlikable.
  7. To that point, on June 26, Comcast/Xfinity stops giving subscribers a free Peacock subscription. I don't think that's good news for DAYS.
  8. Diane's smug, arrogant persona -- all the time -- is tiresome. The actress plays it well, but does she have to play it in every scene with every character? A complete ice princess b_itch is not fun to watch, and it really makes me dislike the character.
  9. The "He could not be a campier gay boy" writing for Leo is HORRENDOUS, and Greg Rikaart does nothing to elevate any of it. In other gay news, it's cringe watching Talia pretend to be sexually attracted to Chanel. We're getting a straight girl who looks petrified and even disgusted that she might have to have sex with another female, and it's all offensive as phuck.
  10. I am STUNNED at how good Constance Towers looks. I really did not expect that at all.
  11. I seem to remember reading something from Hirsch a while back where she talked about her eyesight -- that it was so bad she was essentially blind. Could these "editing" mistakes have something to do with that?
  12. All those restaurant scenes...My God, WHAT WAS THE POINT is right. The best part was hearing the (fake) Italian chef talk about the pizza having a crisp crust -- while seeing Deacon eat a piece that flopped in his hand like jello.
  13. What a weird message. She calls it a "huge misunderstanding" when the age rules are clear. She also says SHE'S rescinding her nomination, when that just isn't true. The nomination was pulled from her. I'm not trying to pile on, but that cringe message doesn't help her. I do also fault those in charge for not catching the age error before any voting took place for nominations.
  14. And looks good in jeans!
  15. Sheila's visitor actually looks like a bearded Thomas to me. LOL I thought everyone knew how good her son was on his knees.
  16. Glad you laughed, Jeff. You’re right that the mood around here needs to be lightened LOL And RJ did ping a little — which is not a criticism hehe
  17. Look, if I went too far and came on too strong with that post, I apologize. Perception is reality, and you clearly think I went overboard, so I do apologize. But saying you're "scared to write in this forum" and "scared of the reaction"? Come on. I know you're not going to address this, and that's fine, but I have to stick up for this board in general. There is NOTHING here to fear. There is no danger to you or anyone else. What's been said to you is NOT so bad that you have any reason to be afraid and unsettled, so that is hyperbole, period. We can all do better. I'll certainly try. But I think you can also pull back a little and not act as if someone is kidnapping your first-born.
  18. I'll take your word for it. I haven't given it that much attention, and I know I've missed posts by others.
  19. I realize they've been biting at each other, but I feel that latest response ratcheted up the argument. I understand passion. My posting style can be passionate and even off-putting to some people, but I also respond negatively when I'm told someone's comments are too emotional and that soap characters aren't real. That's just a way of negating someone completely. I have no problem with someone not agreeing with me about a character or a story. That's all good. I responded here only because I don't think the way to disagree is to diminish the other person.
  20. Your response is really special. You single out Steffy (and Finn) for predictability, yet ignore everyone else in town. Hilarious. Steffy is a "basic cliche of a character with not depth or soul"? LOL That sounds like every character on BOLD. And please miss me with the idea that Hope is "more real." I guess I'm triggered more than anything by your accusation that someone reacted "emotionally" to "fictional characters," as if your comments aren't as emotional as anyone else's. For someone who doesn't care, you wrote a REALLY lengthy response. I think it's possible to disagree about characters -- even strongly and completely -- without attacking a poster with condescension.
  21. I wouldn't be surprised. He pings to me, too.
  22. Agreed, especially that Tanner was robbed. But we all know the Daytime Emmys don't reward powerful, understated, nuanced performances. Screaming, crying, yelling, and wailing are the way to Emmy gold -- just look at the nominations and winners every year.
  23. What's with this PROLONGED conversation of Taylor asking Thomas how he feels about having his brother RJ back? I mean, do people really talk like this? Even worse, what's with Ridge acting like he's on crack when telling RJ he wants him in the company, he wants him around, he wants to do things with him, etc.? Jesus, this show.
  24. Leo is an embarrassment, written embarrassingly. Carson Boatman is probably THE most improved actor in the DAYS cast. I don't know what you're watching. I love PR and KA, too, but I will not miss Bo & Hope after this total debacle of a return. This is not what ANY Bo & Hope fan wanted to see -- not even close.
  25. Can't see a single thing I disagree with -- you nailed it all. With all my complaints about Josh Griffith's writing at Y&R, this is 10x worse. Griffith is like Dickens next to Carlivati, who has a very small bag of tricks that he repeatedly and ENDLESSLY returns to. I cannot believe how bad it all is. I cannot remember DAYS being worse than this.
