OG Harrison should have been replaced much sooner -- like, after 2 appearances. nuHarrison is good, but we'd feel more attachment to him if he were around longer. Keeping the kid with the hair for so long made no sense.

Check him out in One Day. He's one of two, so he's featured in every episode. I mean, if that's not boyfriend material, I don't know what is. You get all sides of him including the soft, gentle, emotional side, and combine that with his looks, and it's intoxicating. And yeah, I know I'm over the top LOL

Leo was also in Season 2 of White Lotus, playing a bad boy. FIRE. In print, he comes off as cute/handsome/sexy. On video and film, he's mesmerizing.

And only 10 episodes this season. But if you need/want another crush, check out Leo Woodall in One Day on Netflix. I am so in love with the guy that I need therapy.

Just a post to say that Sean Kanan is an a-hole. He posted on X/Twitter last night about a black-on-white crime in NY -- complete with video and some very special coded language. Wally Kurth responded, asking why Kanan made it so political. Of course, SK denied it, and Wally accepted his denial in a civil, kind, and responsible way. WK made his point. I thanked Wally for standing up, and when someone gave a LIKE to my post, Kurth gave that a LIKE. An hour later, Wally followed me, so I know I was on the right track about Kanan's post and what Kurth meant in his. Of course, SK got a lot of support -- mostly from the MAGA crowd. Others may be different, but when politics and art collide, I cannot forget the politics. It's why I have no use for Kimberlin Brown and it's now why I have no use for Sean Kanan. Screw them both.

51st Annual Daytime Emmys to Air June 7 on CBS, Paramount+
Thoughts on nominations announced today: -- For Supporting Actress, Jennifer Gareis as Donna on BOLD? Really? GMAB. -- For Supporting Actor, Robert Gossett as Marshall on GH? We rewarded him last year for this, and nothing this year warrants another nomination. Bryton James as Devon on Y&R? I know voters love his work, but he had a nothing year. -- For Guest Performer, Ashley Jones as Dr. Bridget Forrester on BOLD? For WHAT??? She returned for a couple shows and walked through her scenes. Ludicrous. Alley Mills as Heather on GH. She was a GUEST? Something's wrong with a system that allows an actor to submit in a guest category after playing all year. Is Mills that hungry for another Emmy? Dick Van Dyke as Mystery Man/Timothy on DAYS. All he had to do was show up to win this category. The Daytime Emmys fall all over themselves to award primetime actors and movie stars.

-- I second the fact that starring in a Ryan Murphy show is no guarantee of future stardom/success. Plenty of actors in Murphy shows who were labeled "The Next Big Thing" never were. -- If GH doesn't recast Spencer, that tells me the show isn't any longer invested in the Cassidines. -- The Dex montage of him trying out for the police academy was cringe. However, it is absolute art compared to the Y&R greenscreen we get of Connor sitting on the bench in front of his new school.

Have to agree. The Tamara Braun nomination is absurd.

I hope The Bay and Neighbours tie for Best Drama, even though I don't watch either. I should stop getting upset about the Daytme Emmys because they're always a joke.

51st Annual Daytime Emmys to Air June 7 on CBS, Paramount+
As usual, these nominations include a lot of head scratchers and names that make me want to scream and then LMAO. -- For Lead Actor, Thorsten Kaye again? For WHAT? And John McCook again for playing an old dyIng man? And 3 actors from BOLD? Three??? -- For Lead Actress, Michelle Stafford's nomination is a joke, a complete joke. I love KKL, and she's been overlooked far too long, but WTH did she do last year that warranted this nom? And where is Melody Thomas Scott if we're going to put up people who've been slighted in the past? Oh, that's right, she's not well-liked. I'm sure the rest of the nominations will be just as laughable.

B&B: April 2024 Discussion Thread
I really don't want to go down this road again because we've covered it before. However, so many on this board insist on calling this a rape that I have to again voice opposition to that. Yes, the story is horribly written. It is awful in every respect, and I can understand why people talk about consent, etc. However, I do not think it's fair to call this a rape without examining every step and every fact. I don't think any justice system would convict Zende of rape. Luna put herself in Zende's bed. She was impaired BUT HE DID NOT KNOW THAT. We have to assume that he was also drinking. She willingly agreed to have sex. Did she know it was Zende? No, but that is irrelevant. ZENDE thought she was saying yes to him. She NEVER said no or tried to stop him. When "Zende raped Luna" is mentioned on this board, someone who hadn't watched those scenes would think there was sexual assault. That is not what I saw and that is not what happened. I have nothing good to say about the writing on BOLD. Nothing. Bradley Bell is scum for writing those scenes and that scenario. Was anything about that story realistic? No. But it also wasn't rape. I am beyond sympathetic to any victim of sexual assault/sexual violence, but to me it's beyond overboard to call this a rape. I don't think that word should be thrown around like that. I don't expect to get any support here for my take, because this board seems to have passed judgment and then some. I'm sorry for opening this up again, but with the total mess this story is, I do not understand wanting to convict someone of rape and calling him a rapist.

LOL It is. It's worth watching only as a comedy. Also, while people are losing their sh_it over JH's acting as RJ, Luna has been wearing the same pouty crying face for an entire WEEK.

The Danny and Cricket couch sex was pathetic, and not only because Michael Damian is washed and should be off the show. It's nice they gave Harrison a bedroom, but could they make it any smaller? It's like they found a closet in the mansion and put the kid in it. I understand Summer's upset, but I think they've completely overplayed the "MY SON!" angle. We just never saw enough to believe Summer had that motherly bond with Harrison. I'm not blaming Allison Lanier, but I am blaming the writers and the casting of the original Harrison. That kid showed a connection to no one.

Having Maggie be aware of what Konstantin is up to might have been a good idea -- MONTHS ago. Why play it out this long? Why wait? It's been mentioned here countless times that they're stalling stalling stalling until Ron returns. If that's true, it's the lamest and most irresponsible way to run a soap I have ever heard.
