  1. We don't know yet. First five KorMulc episodes had no breakdown writers. Today's breakdown was written by Ash Cooke.
  2. Well, the first six episodes sucked (generally) IMO and I don't (yet) blame the KorMulc. Lots of screaming, yelling, overacting, hand gestures. I was dizzy watching Lucy Coe's hand movements today. Coincidentally, I've been skimming Rauch's OLTL era during which Valentini was a production assistant. Paul hired actors, real actors who could act. Imagine that! In addition, the show had accomplished writers. Peggy O'Shea's tenure was particularly awesome. Frank hires hair models and dudes he thinks are hot. No amount of soap writing Shakespeare will transcend that.
  3. Thanks, Toups! Charlotte Gibson Bauer is a well known and accomplished Black soap writer who started on AMC in 1996 and worked on Days, GL and ATWT. My secret but totally reliable source is as follows: I had a seance with Angelique Dupres of Martinique and James E. Reilly appeared to me to show me her linkedin profile! https://www.linkedin.com/in/charlottegibsonbauer/details/experience/
  4. All but the final 2 episodes were poorly written, mostly cringy. Darren lost his thunder. The show started to find its footing in those final 2 episodes IMO.
  5. Fourth day with no outline writer or editor. Of the four episodes that aired under EK/PM, I know three script writers were Kate Hall, Cathy Lepard and Scott Sickles. Who wrote Monday's episode?
  6. While I have some hope that PM/EK will bring on some riveting moments, until Frank is gone and replaced by an EP who hires real actors, I don't think the show can ever touch it's past glory (monty) dayzzz. When I watch I'm struck by how much FV has stuck to casting hair models. Rewatching some old OLTL under Frank foreshadows his reliance on Barbies and Kens. They need to cut about 15 of these lovelies and emphasis acting chops over plastic, immovable faces and pretty bodies. I can't even get through scenes with the gal playing chief of staff. It's like a high school production.
  7. Thus far, 2 pre-strike Y&R writers were fired: Brent Boyd (editor) was replaced by James Brown (fi-core) who had been on the team a few years ago. Lynn Martin was fired and replaced by Lindsay Harrison who, as far as I know, is not fi core. This one is suspicious as a scab replacing union writer. Janice Esser announced her "retirement" in January. I think her scripts have been airing through March. We don't know who will replace her, if anyone. My guess is that they collaborated on their first breakdown. I wonder if Dave Rupel is gone. He didn't write any Feb scripts. Not sure about March. I would imagine they will retool the writing staff a bit although all these newbies come cheap and it's all about budget. I would think Kate Hall, Scott Sickles, Gibson and Emily Culliton are safe. I can see them cutting Gold for one of their fav out of work vet writers. Suzanne Flynn is a long time ABC person like Korte. She knows this show. I'd be surprised if she was cut. However, the other no names can go as far as I'm concerned.
